Agreed, but shoulders are tricky thing in a game as physical as hockey having had one myself and always reminding myself which one to go in corners with till it felt really better. Agree that rte 14 is a good enough demarcation line though somewhere halfway down Canindagua becomes southern tier. Not sure there is good line. Jamestown could go either way. Ill never forget that pebbled track during meets and the heat in my spikes. Chestnut Hill sucked for ECACs xcountry meets... up and down 3 times with frozen mud. But the toboggon shutes were awesome! Rochester is part of wny. Upstate is north of Middletown and east of rte 14. Finger Lakes overlap but there own sub region. Same as Catskills an nyc close in vacation zone. I noticed Sam seems to be rushing the puck up more and if not for that hook was almost in alone. Needs to work on his shot. Think he finally has the lite switch on and is working hard. Even in the corners hes doing a lot better and as I stated in game time thread... he seems to have found speed I havent seen before. Like the fact he isnt just hanging out on the wing so much.

Center do seem weak but decent wings and D are plentiful and Sabres need both.
