That is a big lie read the book only 2 schools made money from athletic programs... ND and I think Temple. The rest cooked books and stole money from their schools fees and library funds... read the book.

Generating Revenue and being in the black are two different things in college sports. Read College Sports Inc by Mo Sperber. A little dated but things have gotten worrse not better. College Sports are revenue suckers not program providers..

Or at least more guys thought of as making an impact right away and talked up to be franchise players rather than very good players. Scouting is definetly much more public.

Hmm I have to stay out of this one because was banned on TBD for my agressivessness at one point. I am a much move civilized guy when I stick to hockey. Political discussion for has been for me and apparently still is a contact sport no holds bar in the back of my head. This board is much more enjoyable without it imo. And better for everyone around me if I defer to those more sanely able to have those discussions, not on this board... in today’s atmosphere it appears those folks are few in number.

Of all the guys I want to keep of the lower tier, these two are the ones... who I think will be positive keeps for the teams future.

Or getting ready for retirement... what will my kids really want to keep. The rest goes on ebay or in the trash.
