Good observation, not sure if its non-chalant or arrogance... you cant touch this, not lazy. But yea, whatever the reason he does get back on his heals too much especially along the boards. I think he uses it to make moves sometimes... but a playoff motivated team isnt gonna let you do that. Noticed him getting taken a few times recently though not along the boards where he was leaning back not expecting it. Playoff hockey is all about getting an advantage especially away from the puck.

Could get a 2nd if at deadline otherwise probably a 3rd... Would like him gone, but meh if he returns. Bettin he is gone at Trade deadline, but if not he might be here next year unless packaged at draft in a deal.

I wouldnt trade Zuch straight up. But as part of a package of Kane and Lehner for say a number 1, Zuch and a Grabner or a prospect... Problem is Sabres need a D prospect and not sure the Rangers want to let any go. They are rebuilding and looking for picks - or prospects themselves.

Sam again made nice passes and was setting folks up in the first. Looked pretty decent till I needed a nap before my shift. Hes skating better! Faster. Missed the rest of the game.

Yeh I am mixed on Kane the hockey player. He seems to be working on passing more. His vision still stinks and awareness, but he is hard on forecheck and in corners and he know how to shoot. Im ok with his personality. Just not sure unless Sabres get a really good return for him.

Housley did say the new system was going to take time to implement. Only recently are we are seeing D jump up capably more consistently. While forwards are getting back better. Passing is still atrocious except Jack and Sam. And agree breakouts though better are still inconsistent at best. Add Ghule hopefully Dahlin and an improved Nelson and I could see the D being a lot better. Next year at forward is gonna be an issue unles 2-3 of the young guns step up. Pulliott needs to be gone Kane gone will help with passing and hopefully Ullmark steps up. Thats a lot off ifs so they may be better next year. But still a long way to go.
