This..., i can get in tooo much trouble when giving out my opinion rather than my analysis like earlier of why things are happening as opposed to what I think should happen. Was too close to it for too long.

It is an interesting dicotomy. Many rich come from varied backgrounds. Artistic rich tend to be more liberal... both on money and religiously. Those retail and industrial business folks especially from the midwest and south tend to be more conservative sociologically/ religious and monetarily conservative. Old money especially in Northeast seem to be more socially liberal but still conservative or at least pro-business and swing back and forth between both parties. They like moderates. But the wings of both parties have gotten stronger and dominant. Some of it is the news media/cycle and communication styles have changed a lot. Less common ground is able to be found in part because both parties are relatively close in overall vote power and therefore the competition is more fierce. No one is willing to acknowledge or give credit to other side for something that works for fear of losing power.

I understand what you are saying, you qualified it. But many are intimating there is angst in the locker room between guys as fact. Could be or just angst at losing and lack of talent. People tend to look for needles to cure something when its the whole haystack was rotten and it takes time to grow a new haystack. Waiting just sucks. Hence the rumors.

Just like politics, if you repeat something enough, even if false, people start believing it is fact. Not saying it is or not be we havent heard directly so I have my doubts.

Was thinking about this last nite. Could be ROR after his Tim Horton’s run in got some help and it resulted in him stepping away from the young crowd. Throw in the fact that he and his wife just had a baby and could be his perspective just changed and real or not that could be perceived as him being judgemental of the younger crowd and less tolerant of their off ice antics. He works hard with talent he has and I like him. But could see him not wanting to put up with Jack’s Boston arrogance. May be better since Housley had his talk to Jack. And I am ok with a little angst in locker room, probably pushes both sides to grow up.
