Love Donakoi idea and Miller second line center agree is a big if but combined with a further developing Mitts and would be a better balanced 3 lines

Housley is a young coach at the NHL level and it may take time for him as well as the team to take the next step. Question for me is can the Sabres stand to go thru the growing pains or will Phil need to bounce around a few times til he gets it, meaning not with the Sabres

JBotts is not the problem. I do think Phil is. A more experience coach could have handled the rumored ROR issues and probably the Kane issues. Jack wanted captaincy but wasnt ready and a more experienced coach could have put him in his place... still think Sabres need a new coach, young guys need a proven strong leader.

If you watched Toronto v Tampa the other night, Tampa came out hitting everything with a leaf logo, slowed them down, made their passing off target. Got a couple weird goals and that was the game. Super intense but sent Toronto a message. Gotta have both skill and toughness. Tavares was only guy who showed he could handle it in the first. Marner and Matthews looked lost.

My Dad is as you describe... he was EOD Frogman.. unless he is really cagey... and he may be, I am not sure he did anything really extraordinary... he told me he was one of the first to train to disarm the first carrier based nuclear weapons... and his team pulled an unexploded Japanese Torpedo out of Pearl post WWII, but that is about it... cleared bikini atolls of unexploded ordinance because they had become hazards to shipping lanes... about it... doesn't like to talk much about it, did his job and moved on.

Should have been clearer... This, having seen contractors make ridiculous cash for things in the civilian world that cost much less both with a military or medical tag on it has jaded me. Not the folks that serve... Know many and to a person they all complain about the cost of such things. Also post military health care is pathetic... part of the problem is pay does not equal that of the civilian world so recruiting nurses, techs etc is a problem in trying to get better people. At least that is my experience.

My forteen year old took up guitar this year after getng bored with piano and trumpet. Really has taken to it and it seems to help him when he gets down on himself. Nothing like writing verse, Im not a very good guitarist mch better keyboardist... but yeh music helps calm my soul. TY enjoyed your work.
