The apple on VO’s goal notwithstanding, whatever magic Tage had in his game has evaporated. He needs one desperately. -

Eichel thrown under the bus by Vegas HC Bruce Cassidy

Eichel gonna get yet another coach fired. -
We may both infer hesitation but we do so for completely different reasons. You say he’s afraid, I say he is over analyzing the situation. As for being a weak link, I can’t agree with that at all. And unless they’ve changed drastically recently, his underlying analytics support that view.
-
I’d go with hesitant at times not because he’s afraid, but because he tends to overthink the situation. Not uncommon for young rookies. He kinda reminds me of Reinhart in his rookie year when it seemed he was getting knocked on his ass every other shift.
-
No, he is not physically ready, but that’s just one aspect of development.
-
Less afraid? 😂
-
I don’t know if Quinn is ready for the NHL or not, but nothing will get him ready for the NHL better than the NHL.
-
Zegras is a punk. And he is gonna disrespect the wrong vet at the wrong time and get his ass handed to him. I’ll never understand why some supremely talented players are such A holes.
-
I think he is playing under the weight of heightened expectations and is gripping it a bit too tight.
-
I mentioned up thread that Granato needed to channel his inner Lindy but I doubted he had it in him. Perhaps he does after all. He was never afraid to sit the best players if warranted.
-
Krebsie feeling it today.
-
Same here. I will never be happier to be wrong if he can keep it up consistently.
-
Well, Krebs was just out there with Tuch and Skinner, so I doubt that.
-
Donny Meatballs knocked TT down to the 4th line. Maybe he does have an inner Lindy.
-
Is that like the cloud with the silver lining?
-
Sometimes being the operative word.
-
Note the date and time. Lyubushkin actually made an offensive play that worked.
-
That’s coaching.
-
Giving up two goal leads to an inferior opponent is not a surprise in the least. We just did it four days ago. Inexcusable. Granato needs to channel his inner Lindy, but I don’t think he has it in him.
-
He’s been slumping for weeks. Teams are making it a point to take away his space and it’s on him now to adjust.
-
Anyone but that classless punk.
-
You mean HSBC Arena.

True. McDavid is a solo artist playing the great orchestras in the great venues of the world while Eichel is competing for a chair in a middle school band by comparison. -
I always thought it was ironic that he and Lanier were both drafted by and were teammates on the Pistons in the 70s.
