  1. First off, You know the season ticket waiting list was a sham. 10,000 people on the list but they still could not regularly sell out? Anyway, RB success with the Bills and their staying in Buffalo had little to do with attendance. The NFL could care less about the ticket buying public. That said, anyone that sat through 18,000 fans in a 80,000 seat stadium knows that filling that stadium is not a given. It was the multitude of revenue streams that Brandon was able to cultivate in this area and the progressive ideas that made the team a worthwhile investment to more then a few. The Sabres problems with their ticket buying public are more complex then I feel comfortable discussing here but I am confident that some of the ideas RB had for the arena experience would have put Buffalo in the forefront of the changes I think you will see nationwide as arenas and stadiums evolve into the next generation. Attendance issues are not just a Buffalo thing.
  2. That's a fair point. However, i think she realizes she is being judged and her impact will effect more then her own legacy, but future opportunities for other woman going forward.
  3. I still find it humorous how much Brandon is hated over here. He might be the single reason after RW that the team is still in Buffalo. Finance people were stunned when they saw the books upon commencement of the bidding process. He was positioned to be in the conversation for both baseball and football league executives. Unfortunately, he also had a taste for the ladies and didn't hide it. Anyone that frequented Giancarlo's or similar bars in the area, knew of his reputation. No tears shed, he will land on his feet in a less public position. All that being said, I think Kim will do a great job and look forward to some of her "outside the box" ideas for recreating the arena experience.
  4. Svoboda and Virta would be a strong 2nd pairing in today's NHL.
  5. I think I may need a refresher course on what constitutes EURO.
  6. I appreciate the kind words. I am leaning towards keeping my tickets with the group and securing tickets for those who want them. I’ll be touch in due time.
  7. Also, just because the regular group grabs these tickets, it doesn’t preclude anyone else interested from grabbing their own to tickets and meeting up before, during and after.
  8. Eleven makes a fair point and is precisely why I asked. I can guarantee the same or similar tickets but they will be around the $90/$100 they were last year. It seems there is enough of you interested that I’ll consider it a soft nod of approval. No hard feelings if you choose a different route, just keep me informed.
  9. I know its a little early but I am in the process of deciding if I will continue my involvement with my season ticket group and a part of the equation is whether there is interest from all of you in purchasing my tickets for a game next year. No commitments at this time, just looking for some feedback.
  10. I just recalled and resent ticket. You should be able to see it now.
  11. That used to be the easiest way to get in but now it seems everyone goes there
  12. Tell Mike the tickets most of you are using are part of his ticket group.
  13. It would be their 50th season in the league unless you want to quibble about counting lockout year. Therefore, yes, it’s their 50th year. Most people celebrate anniversaries a year after an event took place so October of 2020 will be the 50th anniversary of opening night.
  14. 50/50 that they get the right deal, not if they want to move him.
  15. Ditto. Told about 50/50 chance.
  16. Trim the fat? I don’t think they are allowed to only dress three or four players.
  17. I have two of the best seats you could ask for on Feb 17th, Saturday against LA. PM me if interested.
  18. I have four tickets in row 3, section 116 on the aisle for tonight. Any offer over $1 will be considered
  19. What's going with Justin Bailey? I see he is not in Rochester line up tonight and I haven't heard anything about him since he was sent down
  20. Forwarded tickets to derrico and ubkev(via biodork). Please confirm receipt
  21. Ok, tickets forwarded to touched and drk4(2). Just realized I need e-mail address to set up Sabres account for derrico, bio and wyldwood, unless you already have a Sabres account. Please pm me. Taro and wild's tickets will be mailed. I still need free's address. Eleven, we will get together.
  22. So someone owes me an apology. I took a lot of abuse when I posted that the cap would approach $90 million in the near future.
  23. If seating arrangement is comfortable, I will disburse in the next day or do. As I stated earlier, four tickets are old fashioned hard tickets so I need addresses for taro, eleven, free and wildcard. You may want to pm biodork.
  24. Before I disburse, this is how I have them set up section 119, row 12, seat 1 - drk4 section 119, row 12, seat 2 - josie section 117, row 22, seat 1 - derrico section 117, row 22, seat 2 - touched section 118, row 18, seat 22 - taro section 118, row 18, seat 21 - eleven section 121, row 17, seat 1 - free section 121, row 17, seat 2 - wildcard section 116, row 3, seat 1 - bio section 116. row 3, seat 2 - wyldwood
  25. That’s not what I said. I’m talking specifically about any sports statistical analysis that gives absolutes, especially within a game situation. Stuff like rakish is doing is valuable research and I didn’t mean to make like of it. I kind of just wrapped him up in my disdain for a lot of the “Junk” I hear on the radio and see on the internet.
