I don't consume a lot of Tv news, intentionally. I didn't;t know this was a thing, either. I also think it's stupid. Any industry wants to take care of their own. If I was an NBA fan, I would want them all tested and then sent back on the court to entertain me. Just as I want all the NHL players to be tested, so they can get back on the ice to entertain me. Is this really a thing?

The funny thing is, technically, as a drummer, Neil was just,… okay. I mean it. Most halfway decent jazz drummers could play what he played reletivly easily (actually with a lot less effort). But that wasn't what made him special. It was his composition. He didn't jus play his drum parts. He wrote them. He taught drummers that their instrument was just as deep and complex as the others, maybe more so. EDIT: I actually think that's true of all three of those guys.

I think you missed my joke. It was more about me being a fish than you having a boat. I share all of these concerns and have since long before there was a SIP order. Then I started hearing of people dying. Then I started to know people who died. Now, on the map, I’m in one of the darkest counties of one of the darkest states and the numbers are still going up (haven’t checked them yet this morning.) I think tracing is a real bad idea. I think we’d be foolish to think they are not already doing it.

Boat launches must be closed in Florida, as well. I'm not bitin' this time. Although, I'm pretty sure I got more done in those two days than I have in the entire past 12 years of being a member of this board.

So, if it's two different seasons, then teams that deserved to be in last maybe don't deserve to be in this one, and we would have won the second one. Who cares? There have been plenty of teams that made it that didn't deserve to based on the rules. It's all arbitrary. I WANT THE COVID CUP!!!!

I am in total agreement with dudacek (no surprise.) Does anyone remember who won the SC during the last lockout? Is there an asterisk there? They played what, 42 games? Who is to say that the winner that year wouldn't have suffered a catastrophic injury had they played a full season and not even made the playoffs? We've played 7/8ths of the season, if the rules they set say we're in, then we're in. If we won, I will personally be responsible for the flipping of at least one vehicle in downtown Buffalo for the celebration. Who's with me?

I gotcha. I also don’t care. My initial post was to PA who has a problem with the NHL paying for tests and packing up and moving somewhere to play hockey. I don’t have a problem with it. There is a lot of stuff I want and can’t afford. I’m not going to cry about it, and dammit!, I’m bored. Covid is boring! I would love to have some hockey to watch.
