I like that I get two chances to keep Girgs.

What role should Terry and Kim play in hiring a new coach?
SwampD replied to PASabreFan's topic in The Aud Club
I’m done caring. I think he is actively involved in every decision made, from players to coaches to GMs. My “proof” is the decade of pictures/videos showing him in every “war room” situation. Your “proof” is that those pictures tell us nothing. I think that is nuts. -

I think you are being knowingly obtuse. Especially when Kim actually said this. Added Kim Pegula: "I don’t know there’s any team that hasn’t had their share of mistakes and changes. Those just happen to be ours." I'll take her word of their involvement over yours. Sorry.😄 -

I don't see Ralph in that video either. Is that some sort of proof that he was never named coach of the Sabres? -

I honestly don't get how you arrive at that stance. Every picture and every video of every transaction the Sabres have done in the past 10 years have Terry sitting right at the table. To think that he is there just rubberstamping the outcome is ridiculous. -

In this article, TP himself says he stopped taking notes during the interview because RK is a quote machine. That seems pretty involved. https://www.sportsnet.ca/hockey/nhl/sabres-owner-terry-pegula-time-start-winning/ And this. Added Kim Pegula: "I don’t know there’s any team that hasn’t had their share of mistakes and changes. Those just happen to be ours." -
Now What? Setting a New Course or Rebuild 5.0?

It's a Zoom meeting. He knows who has the next question. He's waiting for them to bring up the call. -
Shouldn’t this go in the “Whoops I Posted...” thread?

You need to stop using this.

That just shows you how stupid those two are. Both hits are the definition of boarding.

Or was this tinordi just learning an important lesson. NHL refs are so ***** biased I don't even know why I watch.

For all you self hating Sabres apologists, tell me how the Tanev hit that got him a 5 minute major and ejected from the game was different from the hit on Cozens. I mean, other than Cozen plays for the Sabres. Answer: it wasn't.

I watch 1 or 2 hockey games every day with NHL.TV. My attention varies as I am usually tinkering in my studio. I often put on the French broadcasts. I don't speak French, and amazingly, I get just about as much out of them as if they were English. I don't have cable, so if the Sabres are blacked out, I go to my friend's house to watch. I've done it for 15 years. Including having to drive an hour when he lived at 33rd and 3rd. Not tonight, and not many times this year, and he only lives ten minutes away now. I was kinda pissed with the restructuring of the divisions, knowing that almost half the Sabres games would be blacked out. Now I'm grateful. I just put on another, good hockey game. Never has NHL.TV been so valuable.

And that first one is the worst. I almost wonder if it was the pilot to grab attention. The rest are better and slicker. -

Just skip it then. Each episode stands on its own. -

I found that to be the worst episode. -

The NHL does not need to cheat for any team playing the Sabres. I admit to not knowing of the rule change. The only time I’ve ever seen a player come out of the box is when they’ve gotten the number wrong and put someone else in. I kinda wish you could challenge all penalties (Hall would have been let out of the box for that ridiculous hooking call.) It is about selective enforcement. They always seem to get it right when it’s the Sabres while other teams get the benefit of the doubt. There is and always has been systemic bias with NHL officiating. Every article Kerry Fraser writes proves it. We’ve seen league emails that prove it. I just can’t not point it out every time I see it. -

I thought that’s what I was asking. Try it out on a team that doesn’t matter, probably. -

I never said it was. I always find it curious when they decide to go by book and when they don’t.
