It'll be interesting to see who gets brought in as part of a new management team. I would expect "experienced" people. I have to imagine Adams/Krueger will both be answering directly to Kim.

That's basically what I'm getting at. Adams is taking the "daily grind" stuff, and Krueger takes a more "high level" spot.

Yup. My fears have been alleviated. No more of his hapless "asset management" to worry about. We'll see what comes next. But I feel good about it. Even if "it" is just Ralph telling Kevyn "let's get that guy, Jack says he's hard to play against".

I'm going all in on the Krueger is the actual GM thing. Adams feels like an "in title only" appointment. They've got some time now to set this structure up the way they want it.

Naming Adams as the GM is interesting. Does this mean we're getting that weird "Krueger is technically the GM" setup we were talking about?

The only versions for me nowadays are the Harmy's Despecialized Editions. It's a high-quality fan edit that you have to hunt down around the various file sharing websites out there. Did anyone else see the thing about Botterill's contract? Apparently there was a May 15th cutoff date and the Pegulas missed it and ended up having to pay him a performance bonus, so that's why he's still here.

Very excited to see how Botterill somehow screws up being gifted a stagnant salary cap because of a global pandemic.

Yeah, and? It appears to be something that would be hard to detect. It's hard to blame anyone for not having diagnosed it right away. The symptoms might not have presented as something obvious. Hutton might have just thought he was fatigued, or maybe not mentally focused. The concern is that after they "discovered" it in January he still played 15 more games and went 6-8-0. Could they not have put him on IR? Is there no way to evaluate this or treat it as an injury where the player shouldn't be playing?

The Athletic laid off a portion of its writers today, including our very own Joe Yerdon. Needless to say I have canceled my subscription since they no longer offer a product I want to read.

Hogan's Heroes is such a good show though. The humor really holds up, which can't be said for a lot of what came out of that era of comedy. And Klemperer's portrayal of Klink is top notch, which I think does a lot of the heavy lifting for the show.
