Gotta support the team!

Either way it'll be a hoot.

I'm not sure the Sabres would have nailed the expansion process given their philosophy of creating a dynasty... In the year 3535.

How dare they ice a good team in quick order. We know these things take time! To do it the right way anyway! /snark

I fell in love with baseball in the mid 70s and loved the Mets when they were pretty terrible. Then I fell out of love with baseball and the Mets as hockey and football took hold and of course the Mets won the World Series.

Was Skinner scratched? I meant to look it up. I feel like his stat line was usually 0-0-0-87 in 15 minutes of ice time. Goals assists points Mohawks.

Is Roch still the Lilac City? I've heard Buffalo called the City of No Illusions.

Rick Jeanneret would probably order a Whopper with the following specifications: No onions Extra pickles Extra ketchup No mustard No mayonnaise A large order of fries A large Coke He would probably also ask for his order to be "dressed to the nines," which means that he would want it to be prepared with extra care and attention to detail. Here is how he might order his Whopper: "Hi, I'd like to order a Whopper, please. No onions, extra pickles, extra ketchup, no mustard, no mayonnaise. And I'd like a large order of fries and a large Coke. Please dress it to the nines." The cashier would probably respond with something like: "Sure, no problem. Will that be all for you today?" "Yes, that's all. Thank you." Rick would then pay for his order and wait for it to be prepared. When it was ready, he would take it to a table and enjoy his meal.

I've almost fully come around to this after decades of watching. It's the most terrifying thing about the sport. That missed point shot of the back boards caroming out... Shiver me timbers. Probably more than 50% of my addled brain believes in Hockey Gods.

Au contraire mon frère. I haven't fried balowme in years. Unless you are alleging I am full of balowme.
