I want a fancy stat that somehow combines shooting percentage with saved shots that are put in the net on the rebound. I'm sure something's out there.
-
Is he still around? I can't remember seeing him for a while now.
-
That's an understatement. We know Morgan was out there on his own, so of course the guy had to die. What was pathetic was the way it happened. He's an expert with the stick and instead he body blocks the walker? I don't know what they were thinking with that one.

I'm out of touch with the rest of the league so far. I had no idea those guys had that many goals already. I wouldn't have expected to see them near the top of the list. I know, I know, small sample sizes, it's early, blah blah blah. But still, I figured all three in your list would have similar goal totals.

Oh they mean something. Those players have scored on 100%, 34%, and 28% of shots they have taken SO FAR. That doesn't necessarily mean is is predictive of their future shots.

But I didn't know that it was on!

You want to turn this into a personal attack, that's fine. You're a joke. This thread is dedicated to the show. It's not like it's a general movie thread and someone is going off about an advanced screening of Spectre. If we can't talk about what happened during the show in this thread specifically about the Walking Dead, it has no purpose whatsoever. You clicked in the damn thread on your own yet you want to blame me. It blows my mind.

How much can Steve Garvey bring to the diamond given that he is now 66 years old?

An undefeated weekend for Buffalo sports. Thank you Bills!

Airing it immediately after a cliff hanger ending to an episode is the real sticking point here, I think. They went out of their way to build up a ton of question marks around Glenn's fate and then they aired this. I think it would have been fine on it's own if it had aired at a different moment where the tension of the series was near its peak. The shows obviously couldn't be any more different, but it reminds me of South Park's april fools joke in between the old "who is Cartman's dad" episodes. Is there a new November Fools joke I'm not aware of? And on another note, we have a thread dedicated to the discussion of a tv show, so posting about things that just aired on said tv show is completely fair game. No one else here can be held accountable simply because someone didn't know the show was airing during it's usual weekly time slot. I DVRed the Sabres game last night and guess which thread I didn't visit.

They have football here? I'm far enough away that if people do care, I'm not seeing any of it. But anyway, I saw it for the first time this morning when I read Hoss's post upthread. When I first heard about it I assumed the game was in Miami and it was one of those cases where they didn't want to piss off the home fans. Now that I see it was here, wow, I can't even fathom how much ineptitude goes into screwing that one up.

Once it has aired in the eastern time zone, it is no longer a spoiler. If you don't want to read something from the newest episode, don't open the thread while it is airing or before you have watched it. It's that simple. It's not like twitter or facebook where things just pop up, you had to willingly click on the thread to read it. And as for what I said, once that guy showed up, everyone in the world knows he's dying this episode. We all know Morgan was off on his own. And speaking of that guy, they really have been going all out on the red shirts this season. That's the 3rd character they've introduced solely for the purpose of killing later in the episode. I suppose the guy last week may have been shown earlier, but they gave him a bit of a backstory just at that moment. That still leaves Nick Papagiorgio and Steve Carey as two well recognizable red shirts.

Don't bother. And no, it was all flashbacks of how he got his Jedi skills. Complete waste of time.

I used to play hockey with a bird guy. He said it's a red shouldered hawk.

This ultimate survivalist guy and he gets bit like that? Stupid Morgan.

Jan, I have a ton of candy for you. We didn't get a single person from outside of the neighborhood. The whole thing wound up being a great meet and greet for all the new neighbors. My personal favorite was this little 1 or 2 year old girl. We were talking to her mother and only I was paying attention as she kept walking back and forth between my candy bowl and her mother, grabbing a single piece of candy each time. She must have done it at least 15 times. It was hilarious. We als found the fun street in the neighborhood. Ours is apparently the "stick up their " street. We were out there until 12:30 or so with fire pits and beers. This is going to be a fun neighborhood.

I have no idea what happened anywhere in the league today. It's a nice feeling actually.

I saw this today. I know who I'm voting for.

Wasn't he in there system at some point, essentially as a token signing? Actually, now that I look him up, he is in their system.

Yeah, the video actually makes it look like he stole it from two kids.- 495 replies

It's not like he was carrying the puck and the center of attention on the ice at that moment...- 495 replies

We're brand new though with maybe 25 houses lived in. Hopefully people see the construction and think it's not very lived in yet. What could screw us though is that Holly Fest thing going on right next door. That could draw in some early visitors.

Apologies if it's already been mentioned, but the old man stealing a puck from a kid seems to be getting a lot of play today. It's always hilarious how bad these things make certain people look.- 495 replies
