  1. It sure would be nice if that message came from her and not from you. You're just furthering the exact thing you are talking against.
  2. I just don't see it. The two posts are essentially identical. The only difference is that you like one person and not the other.
  3. This post made me curious. Alex Daigle was always the poster boy for blown 1st overall picks. Looking how things have gone so far, wow, Yakupov has a long way to go if he even want to come close to matching Daigle's career.
  4. In other words, growth. They were foolish to say that they could turn this around so quickly when they first took over. Since then, they've learned a lot and hopefully things are now headed down the right path. Making mistakes at the beginning does not guarantee that they will make those same mistakes forever.
  5. It's a dangerous game to play though. At times, things can be repeated so often, that wind up being perceived as the truth, even though it has never been proved. At some point it needs to move beyond the words of a bunch of faceless names. I have no reason to question either of you, but at some point there needs to be a bit more substantiation to any conversation like this. I'm guessing that is coming in this case, but I'm sure that you guys can understand why people might question you. The sad part is that for every thread like this one where the finger pointing is more than likely justified, there a several more where it is not. That's why I have a hard time stomaching this stuff. Was something deleted? All I see is an honest question from wild card and then two responses from PA. I just don't see any sort of attempt at putting down the woman's point of view.
  6. These two quotes right here are what I picture the job to be. I really wish we could get a true picture of what the job. All too often it seems that people think the president is out there drawing up plays on the clipboard during practice. Now I know those clipboards with an ice rink are cool, but I doubt one will ever find its way into Kim's office.
  7. How on earth was that a steamrolling? Unless stuff was deleted, all I see is two posts summing up to a grand total of four sentences. Just because they don't agree with her 100% doesn't mean they're belittling her. The whole exchange was completely harmless. If someone needs to be coddled that much, it goes completely against the exact message you're trying to make with what I just quoted.
  8. I should have phrased it better, but you definitely answered the question. Thanks.
  9. You've been carrying it so long that your arms have burned away all the way up to the elbow. It was time.
  10. What's the timeline on each of these? The time from sale to presidency feels fast here with Buffalo, but I don't really have a good perspective on the typical timeline for these type of things. That said, I have absolutely no problem with the idea that people can learn and grow in these positions over time.
  11. First we had toddkazz. He then passed the torch to the Wookiee. That torch has been passed once again
  12. And on top of all of that, why would his agent even be leaking this at this point? Mayfield has absolutely nothing to gain from it now that the draft is over.
  13. He's been completely worthless out here. I do love the quote I saw earlier today though that said he had been Costanza-ing the Hurricanes ever since the new owner demoted him.
  14. Couldn't he just use it as a pogo stick?
  15. I'm thinking it may be in Allen's best interest to win over Buffalo fans by changing his first name to Rasmus.
  16. I can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not.
  17. If I wasn’t sitting in the theater waiting for Avengers I’d figure out how to post it. Hopefully tomorrow.
  18. I took a screen shot off of espn that lists him at 503 feet tall. If that’s true, I think we found something here.
  19. Someone really needs to change their name to Magnet Face and follow up all of your posts
  20. That was kind of the point.
  21. They’ve drafted a ton of qbs and cbs over the last few years, haven’t they?
  22. I've never seen a second of any of these guys, but from all the talk, I know that Mayfield is one of the smaller guys. Is his playing style similar to Tyrod at all?
  23. You know what they do get though? Clicks. The whole act is intentional.
  24. It's the Browns though. There are no limits to the potential head scratcher they could pull.
  25. Right, Andreychuk was traded for Fuhr. Nice brainfart there from me. And if Mogilny and LaFontaine played the same number of games, does that mean they both got hurt in the same game? Or did LaFontaine come back at the end of the series?
