  1. Once Skinner gets one, he'll be up to 6 a week later. I feel like we've seen it a million times, the snakebit goal scorer explodes once he gets a goal. I think it was two years ago where Kane started horribly and then still wound up close to 30.
  2. This has to be the strangest tangent I've ever seen in a thread on this board.
  3. Yeah, I never would have found it either. I'm twitter illiterate.
  4. If we have a Wilbur profile, we can definitely have a dedicated gif explainer profile.
  5. It depends on the definition of best that you’re going for, whether it’s the best at a single moment or the best over a longer period of time. I’ll throw Kyle Williams and Fred Jackson into the discussion for what they brought to the team for a very significant amount of time.
  6. Why would anyone do that willingly? I can find some acid for you to pour into your eyes while you're at it.
  7. They place a real live bat inside your toilet? Seems risky.
  8. Well there's your explanation for the empty seats... bounceyball
  9. Brian Moorman
  10. This post is absolutely worthless without being able to see the destruction that is hinted at. It's like a cliffhanger ending to a tv show that gets canceled before you ever get to see the resolution. We just took over in the summer, so I'm looking forward to when those letters start to go out. From yesterday's meeting, I can already tell that they're going to go after the people who leave their garbage bins out front. It's going to be fun.
  11. They're still going to be fairly well protected from the 3 directions you don't see on screen, particularly behind the camera. The lawyers would be all over them if they put these reporters and camera people in a legitimately risky location.
  12. Especially since these the shelter these reporters have is hidden off camera. They're at very little risk, but play it up very differently.
  13. As has been pointed out earlier in the thread, it's not just the OP's comment. This has been stated over and over for a few years now, going back to at least Eichel. There's a line and, at least to me, it has been crossed. The sausage stuff did as well. I'm not usually going to be one to point this stuff out, but since it already came up here, I will say that I agree.
  14. What exactly does any of it add to the experience of watching hockey?
  15. Our topic that comes up every single time is fences. Yesterday this guy who admitted that he has no interest in ever putting up a fence kept throwing out the craziest hypothetical situations to test the limits of the current list of approved fence types. That didn't mesh well with angry arrogant old guy, which I really thought was going to start the brawl. I could see that happening somewhere down the line and I really hope I'm there to watch.
  16. I find it oddly entertaining, but that's not going to last. We haven't had many meetings yet since it's new construction and there was no board up until 2 months ago, but the same exact conversation has been had at each one. That's going to get old very fast. I had to leave the neighborhood's facebook page for that exact reason, people whining about the same exact thing on a daily basis.
  17. Each time I see him, Tyler Myers pops into mind immediately. That's probably a clear sign that he needs to add a little more muscle to his frame over time.
  18. Same here. I hate that the possibility even came to mind, but that's the world we live in today.
  19. HOA meetings add a whole new level of entertainment to the whole home ownership experience. I thought I was going to sit back and watch a bench clearing brawl last night. This one guy was about as subtle as a sledge hammer to the face, demanding so many rules be changes for no reason other than he doesn't like them. He got more and more angry each time he was told that's not how things work, refusing to take anyone's word but his own. I would probably wind up being the one who gets punched in the face since I was openly laughing at the guy.
  20. We shouldn't try and generalize this down to a case of criticizing an athlete. In this specific case, a teenager is being mocked for something very common among teens. Sure, people are free to say whatever they want and most of the time this stuff borders on pathetic, something completely unrelated to the that player's profession. The age factor here just adds an additional layer of sleaze to the whole thing.
  21. This one looks to be a great example of why people need to be a little more descriptive when they label these situations as opposed to just saying victimized. Maybe I'm off on this one, but I get a completely different read from what Marions posted to where this isn't a bullying situation. If I'm wrong, good, because my read is something far worse. Broad terms used to cover just about all bases (and your own ass, at least when it comes to news reports) lead to more confusion.
  22. Shouldn't their rebuild be ahead of ours seeing as how it started some amount of years earlier? This would be, what, their 4th or 5th attempt at it while we're currently on our 2nd/3rd?
  23. I don’t mind the thought of moving him one bit. I don’t think the numbers so far this year will adversely effect any deal. If anything, the incredibly limited usage should actually have him in better shape for a new team thanks to less wear and tear.
  24. If you say the new name really fast, I could see it morphing into Sally Field.
  25. I’ll admit to not watching, but I have a hard time pinning much blame on a featured back who up until this week was averaging 7 carries a game. It seems like the “trash” label needs to be focused somewhere else.
