sushi buffet for lunch. normally those two things are a recipe for digestive disaster, but this place is great. there's so much turnover the rolls are replaced every 5 minutes, and it's good stuff too, not just your usual california rolls with different stuff on top. soooooo goooooood.

Yep, that's one of the few things I can't complain about.

Don't know much about the other two, but Dougherty is solid. He decommitted to Ohio State after their coach was fired and will be attending Wisconsin in the fall. Wisconsin will have a few holes on defense (McCabe left early, two seniors graduated), and he will step in right away. Mike Eaves does a great job with the defense at Wisconsin, and continues to churn out good players. Dougherty's skating is a question, but the kid is set up to succeed at the next level. I'd love to see them take him in the 2nd, just like they did with McCabe.

Although I wouldn't consider myself a Liverpool "fan" (I prefer Arsenal), I've always had nothing but respect for Gerrard and would love to see Liverpool win this season, just for him.

I dislike Sid more than just about any player in the league. But if I was building a team, and could pick any player first overall, it'd still be him.

Thanks for the well wishes. I still have to this drain/pump thing coming out of my side for a few more days (hopefully it will be removed on Monday), and the antibiotic has basically destroyed my taste buds, but beyond that I'm doing much better! I too feel Stamkos is the better overall player.

I think Crosby is the better all-around talent than Kane. The two Cups, while impressive, are not all thanks to him, and I think Toews deserves as much, if not more, of the credit. But what about Kane vs. Stamkos?

I was assigned my first number, 4, and wore that for a few years before I switched to 14. I wore 18 for one game, shattered my arm, and never wore it again. In college I started wearing 32, and still do.

Got out, Saturday, but went back in on Tuesday for infected abscess and what turned out to be infected bacteria in my bloodstream (see up thread). Just got home about an hour ago, on the condition I may have to go back tomorrow. They gave me the highest powered antibiotic in pill form (Cipro), but it may not be strong enough, and I may need to get it via IV. if that's the case, then I get a pic installed tomorrow and get home delivery for two weeks.

It's going. Worst part of this hospital stay was an inability to watch playoff hockey last night. That will be changing tonight.

Well, the surgery went fairly well, was released Saturday afternoon. Was planning to back to work Tuesday, but Monday night I broke out in a rash and ran a101 fever all night. Called the doctor Tuesday morning and was admitted back to the hospital. Been here since Tuesday at 9 am. Turns out I developed an abscess, and some of the infection got into my blood stream. They had to insert a drain, which will stay for about two weeks, and give me a cocktail of high powered antibiotics. Looks like I'm finally heading home this afternoon. This whole thing has been such a pain, and my boss calls daily to bother me with work questions.

Been at the hospital since 930 this morning with severe stomach pains. Yep, gotta get the appendix removed. Surgery begins in one hour.

Glad they got him signed, and looking forward to see how he looks vs. NHL competition.

Hopefully Wisconsin can make up for the dismal Sabres season we've had to suffer through.

I saw Gaffigan once at a conference for the Deli, Dairy, Bakery industry. About half way through he launches into the Hot Pockets bit, and a group of 5 guys stand and start cheering like little girls. Turns out they work for Nestle, specifically the Hot Pockets line, and laughed uncontrollably through the whole routine. It actually through Gaffigan off at first, which made it even more amusing.

I really like Zengerle. He isn't the biggest or most physical player, but isn't afraid to get his nose dirty. Reminds me a lot sometimes of another center from Wisconsin, Joe Pavelski.
