Thanks for the support. One thing that I did notice is that we have waaaaaay too many teams with red or blue primary colors in the East.

Been a while since they made me care enough, but seems like a good time to bring these back. Historical: Eastern Conference: Atlantic Division: (Note: "Playoffs" is a somewhat arbitrary 95-point pace.) Updated: 3/23/2019

I remember when these first came out, back when I was in grad school. One time, I was walking from the parking lot to my building and this beautiful coed walking towards smiles and says "hi, how's it going?" (or something like that.) I, of course, smiled back and responded "Great! You?" She looked startled, turned, put her hand on her ear piece and continued her conversation with whomever she was actually talking to. I've hated them since. ? -
Well, every few decades, you do have a game like this ... ?

This is awesome ... but ... we do have to start winning in regulation eventually, right? 9 in-a-row is impressive, but 3 RW, 3OTW and 3SOW is just ?! -
Are Your Expectations for this Season Changing?

Been a while, but seems like a good time to bring the chart out of mothballs ... (Points net of 93-point playoffs-ish pace.) -
Go to store ... buy coffee ice cream ... put two scoops in a cup ... microwave for 2 minutes ... drink. Not literally, but that's pretty much the end result. ?

If his post-game comments here were any indication, he probably thinks it's all his fault, making the cloud ever darker. ? -

No need for everyone to whip out their fanhood and compare; we all know whose is the biggest. ? -

Since the start of the weekend, they've scored the same amount ... in the same number of games. Sad, just sad.

It's been a long time. I stopped doing my charts back during the tank years. However, it's safe to assume that they haven't had this many point through 11 GP in the missing years. As such, I can pretty confidently say that they haven't had this record since 2009-10 (they had 18 points through 11 that year.) From the 2004-05 lockout to that year, they had as good of a record or better in every year except 2007-08. The Sabres are actually only tied for the 9th best points % at 59.09%. Though, they are virtually tied with 7th and 8th, as well, who have 60.00%. The rise above those is fairly steep, as is the drop below Ottawa in 12th.

As bad as this game is, you really don't want to see a "s**t show" there ... ?

Quick ... who scores next, the Bills or the Sabres? ?

A future (2021) pick. My favorite line is: " The Bills felt they have the proper depth in order to trade Newhouse to Carolina ... However, to be sure, they added Sirles, a 5th year player who has 15 starts and 30 games played in the NFL." I guess that's nicer than saying that he's useless, so we gave him away and grabbed some schlub off the street. Maybe, they can unload some of that wide receiver "depth" while they're at it.

But, but ... it's a total ripoff of what Atlanta did ... ?
