2025 Prospects Challenge at Harborcenter 9/11-15

Stock Down Rosen has been non-existent all weekend. Wahlberg has looked awkward out there. He looks slow and is often out of position or making off-target, hurried passes. I was high on him on draft day and after his D+1 season but I am not as low as I've ever been. Amerks players have been playing against men for 1+ seasons and they leave the weekend 0-3 playing against mostly teens. Barely any of them stood out. Östlund had the puck a bunch but still looks undersized and easily moved from the puck by again teens. The awful announcer booth continues to show why they are one of the worst in the league. This is only exaggerated after a game called by Marty and Duff. (Note: this is my opinion before the defenders log on and get upset) Stock Up Mtrka looked physical and extremely sound defensively with his positioning and well-timed stick lifts/checks. Most say he's 3 years out but I think he will challenge that timeline. Helenius didn't do anything spectacular, but his continued evolution as a pest who is hard to play against is a welcomed development. -

I needed to add more ever ever evers to emphasize my point. 😇 I do wonder what Adams will try to fix this upcoming season/offseason. NHL-ready #1 centers would be a good target. Trade Norris for one and add two more in the draft. I'd say goalie but they already have nine in the system, so I figure they're already starting to address it. -
Thoughts After the Death of Charlie Kirk

I can see someone being held accountable for influencing the actions of another if that person had some type of relationship. There was a girl who got into trouble a while back because she apparently influenced a guy who eventually committed suicide knowing he had feelings for her. Broader examples would be educators, close family, so on. That said, there is a constant bombardment of desensitization on the internet. Even if you don't know the people posting they can influence your perspective when it's the same message over and over. Also add in people gravitate to sources that affirm their existing ideas and the whole thing becomes a loop where people start to feel like the angry/violent thoughts they have are justified. Those groups and people are protected under the First Amendment and censorship is a slippery slope. However, they draw comparisons to the worst in humanity's history to get a prescribed emotional response. They do not want solutions because friction gets them what they really want which is clicks, views, and agitation. In the aftermath of Charlie Kirk's assassination, it's easy to see how jacked up in the head these people are based on what they are putting on social media. Some of them have been fired. -
No, mods, it is NOT NSFW.

Yea you can. Mrtka, Kleber, Komarov, McCarthy, Strbak, Bedkowski, Simon-Pier Brunet. That's 7 RHD all 6'2" or bigger from the last 3 drafts. And Trethewey is also a rhd, he's just better than Bedkowski but 6'2" - Today

While I believe it's much too early to grade a draft, my main response is: you can never have too many big RHD. Never ever ever. Nice rush goal from Mateo and Nadeau. Jacksonville top line preview. -

I don't expect Neuchev to try to annihilate someone. But as a counterpoint, it would have been a good time to test out the new shoulder. However, what I'm most disappointed by is that by avoiding any check, it led to a Pens scoring chance. Separate the man from the puck and dump it back in and go for a change. Telegraphed passes like using he's using a rotary phone. -
fair point.

Regarding McDaniel, I suspect he is less of the problem in South Beach than we might think. But as the saying goes, you can’t fire all the players, so he will be the sacrificial lamb. Whomever the new coach ends up being is gonna inherit the same dysfunctional group of players to manage.

Morning hockey. Missed opening goals. Neuchev could've decapitated a guy and... stepped aside. Which is nice... in a practice. -

Enough. Take it to PM if you must. You both COULD contribute useful stuff here rather than taking pot shots at each other. I'm tired of it. The continued antagonizing of each other does not need to be carried out in the public forum. Not from continued eyerolls nor the comments about getting the eyerolls. No more warnings.

Thoughts After the Death of Charlie Kirk

This would be why it might be helpful to post what your thought on the message in the video was. People aren't going to watch a long video.. or they might if they have some sense of what is in it. Overall, I think wanting harm to anyone is bad. It shouldn't happen. He should be allowed to speak his views and influence those who would listen and believe. But, there is a debatable point I think about when what someone speaks of might influence those who listen to cause harm to others. It's a very slippery slope. Are we to be held responsible for another person's actions because of what we might have said? Should Clark Griswold be held responsible for Cousin Eddy being stupid and kidnapping Clark's boss? (Yes, I use that as a bit tongue in cheek, but I feel the concept is there.) The bottom line to me is that both sides need to stop encouraging people to be so intolerant of those with different views. We should not be talking about violence against a corporate CEO any more than we should be talking about violence against someone for the sexual identification. Sadly we are on the path of escalation. I am hoping there's a shift in direction without there first being a seismic event that triggers it. -
Better save, Dom on Klatt or UAP on Hellfire Missile?
Pimlach replied to PASabreFan's topic in The Aud Club
True. That was the primary design, as an anti armor missile. It can be used as an air-air weapon and has been used that way by the Air Force. This whole thing looks hokey. -

Adam Mair Placed on Leave after DWI with 3 Kids in Car.
LTS replied to Mustache of God's topic in The Aud Club
Why is it not reasonable? These are the very real consequences people face for their actions. It can happen to anyone and has. We've seen people fired from their jobs when their name makes it into the public and people begin associating them with the company they work for. The company has every right to protect its brand from its employees bad decisions, whether they occur on company time or not. Perhaps he should have recognized this before he made the decision to drink and drive. I'm not following the situation that closely but are we assuming he has an addiction or has it been stated? Just because someone blows a .2 does not mean they are an addict. That said, it doesn't change things. If you are someone who has a close relationship with a person who has an alcohol addiction then I would hope you've taken steps to make sure they aren't driving drunk and absolutely not with their kids in the car. Even then, you can't prevent people from making bad decisions 100% of the time. Bad stuff is going to happen. In this case he's not even fired right? He's on leave. So, are people just making all kinds of assumptions about the situation or did I miss some facts? -
a wounded animal is a dangerous animal. and miami has often played us tough and close. that said: i hope we blow their doors off on thursday night and send mcdaniel and his coke dealer sunglasses packing.
