Adam Mair Placed on Leave after DWI with 3 Kids in Car.

The legal system does. The Sabres do not. -

Thinking about this, itâs almost like GMKA is gathering an additional dart to throw if UPL washes out again like he did last year. Itâs not ideal as UPL is the only real plan the Sabres have. But if he returns to NHL average, this helps out Rochester a lot (Sandstrom as the backup last year was meh at best). -
I always just keep pushing mine out, and eventually the phone makes an executive decision to update and then restart it for me.... That night was Monday, when I was expecting a call from a Pulmonologist and I gave the transfer center my cell number to call because I don't know where in the hospital I'll be most of my shift. Guess who was super annoyed with me when the nurses couldn't find me after my phone went to voicemail because of the stupid update at 1am. While I was up in the ICU taking care of some things, grrrr

I think theyâre loading up for the Amerks to be GOOD. Heck of an offseason for Karmanos. While he did not replace the goals of Murray or JobstâŚhe beefed up the roster, added a pugilist, upgraded the blue line, and greatly upgraded G2. Itâs clearto me Rosen will be waived and hopefully slip back to ROC (I think thatâs likely) to join Konsta & Ăstlund for offensive production. Iâm excited! -
NHL suspends players acquitted in 2018 sexual assault trial until Dec. 1
shrader replied to LGR4GM's topic in The Aud Club
These suspensions were from an agreement between the league and the PA. If there's any question about rights, I'd imagine that was addressed in the agreement as well. - Today

NHL suspends players acquitted in 2018 sexual assault trial until Dec. 1
Flashsabre replied to LGR4GM's topic in The Aud Club
There is a real confusion right know on whether these guys teams still have their rights or not. Itâs a complicated situation. Some young guys made bad decisions. They were judged in a court of law to be innocent. We donât know exactly what happened and what didnât. The judge found the woman to be unconvincing. Should the players be blackballed or given a second chance? The NHL is giving them another chance. Coach Q and Bowman got second chances. I donât need the Sabres to sign any of them. McLeodâs brother would be the only one I would be interested in. Hart I think will have plenty of suitors. -
Sabres sign goalie Alexandar Georgiev to a one year 825k deal
Flashsabre replied to Brawndo's topic in The Aud Club
So Adams has gone from years of pencilling Levi in as the NHL goalie to now putting guys in place to keep Levi from the NHL. And I have no problem with Levi starting in the AHL again but this was not Adamâs plan 2 years ago. Shows how clueless he is. I agree with some others that this probably means someone is injured in net right now and this is an insurance plan. -

DarthEbriate replied to Brawndo's topic in The Aud Club
Hmmm. Someone isn't ready for the preseason. Because he's not an upgrade on anyone except Lyon, and Lyon is a proven backup who knows how to sit for a time and come in and give you .900. -

Yeah, still not fully getting this move. Guess Adams is thinking what better way to clear up 3 ???'s at G than by adding a 4th? -
If true, yikes!

nfreeman replied to Brawndo's topic in The Aud Club
Kinda seems like an insurance policy against Lyon being a complete washout, understanding that Lyon himself is an insurance policy against a 2nd year of UPL crashing and burning. -
IDK - theyâre not saying anything that isnât already plainly obvious to Tuch and his agent IMHO.

Sabres sign goalie Alexandar Georgiev to a one year 825k deal

I suspect the market showed no one else was signing Georgiev to an NHL contract to be a backup, so chances are good he will clear. -
Sabres sign goalie Alexandar Georgiev to a one year 825k deal
shrader replied to Brawndo's topic in The Aud Club
The way to avoid that is to not keep Levi up. They didnât have to waive anyone in that scenario. Now they are essentially guaranteed to be waiving a veteran⌠unless they carry UPL, Lyon, and Georgiev, which is clearly not happening. Iâm a bit surprised it didnât happen as a PTO, but Iâm really not all that concerned about it. - Yesterday

dudacek replied to Brawndo's topic in The Aud Club
Doesnât change the fact that Georgiev isnât good and doesnât really have the temperament of an AHL backup. I also kinda wonder why he signed here to be a #4? Best contract offer? Thinks the other 3 donât offer much competition? This was definitely the last news I thought Iâd be reading today. -

I mean, I guess it makes sense from the perspective of we now have 4 âNHLâ goalies, which canât be a bad thing in terms of depth. It gives us the flexibility to trade somebody if need be, and less concern in Rochester if someone gets hurt. And the depth chart works the way @Brawndo spells it out.
