  1. Past hour
  2. It's so hilarious to me that Pegula is so incapable of leadership, instead of firing the obviously over his head not good enough gm, he's gonna with the "let's hire a GM for our GM" approach. It's cowardice really.
  3. So true, every year when playoff hockey starts we are reminded of how exciting it is... intense physical and sometimes down right mean and nasty... then I listen to everyone wanting this team to make the playoffs... and think they would get swallowed up like guppies in playoff hockey... and the only ones not eaten would be the ones hiding under the bench... so much more is needed to be a competitive team in the post season... we are so devoid of that... its past how horrible Adams has gotten production and development from this group its also roster construction... Owen Power, Quinn, Peterka, Byram and Bryson would all look like Denis from Slapshot with PTSD in the locker room and anyone who actually resisted would end up looking like Dave "killer" Carlson... so much different required in this roster construction... with so many incompetents trying to do it... sorry, but I see this current roster as constructed maxing out at a 5 game first round playoff exit... IF the dream scenario played out next year... however realistically, not likely to even make them... but if we did we are likely gonna turn away from the beat down that will ensue...
  4. I compare Kevyn Adams to the Bills GM Doug Whaley. Whaley actually made some solid moves (mixed bag) and the Bills were not a complete embarrassment on the field. But ultimately he was judged for the EJ pick and Watkins trade up and not getting into the playoffs. Adams should have had the same fate for his lack of action and not making the playoffs, and we would be talking about someone like Ken Holland as our new GM now.
  5. So, this is just my opinion. This position is 100% needed. A NEW outside the organization face is needed. The current decision makers are all seeing the same thing and not what is actually needed to take this team to the next level. This is why i see Stahl as a good addition as he played the style of hockey that this current team needs to go to the next level. I am NOT a KA fan, but he has made some good trade decisions and acquisitions that has helped this team. Now they need to take that final couple of steps to hit that next level and he is stuck without the vision to get there. A great organization has multiple sets of eyes on the team and league to make their own team better. This team does not have that.
  6. I see it the opposite. The Avs GM got a piece they really needed at the time, but sacrificed a better piece that he had in a position of excess. Improve the roster and win right now was his goal. When the Avs GM saw that the guy he acquired was not up to par he easily moved him for a more proven veteran. Meanwhile the Sabres GM admitted he didn’t know how to use the player that he acquired because they have similar skilled players on big contracts at the same position. The Sabres GM never filled a real need, created a new hole, and failed to improve his team. At least he gets a shot at trading Byram to hopefully add a player we need but the trade made for a better player has not improved the team.
  7. Today
  8. Thompson gets destroyed and not 1 single Sabres player came to his aid, Anyone who even comes close to Barkov almost dies on the ice by everyone. That must be such a nice feeling, maybe 1 day we'll experience that. I felt from the very begining of the playoffs that if the Stars beat the Avalanche they'd win the Stanley Cup and I feel even better about that plus Oettinger looks much better than the Colorado series.
  9. Florida found their game again.
  10. Domi is a garbage player, never really lived up to his billing.
  11. Now that was the kind of game I expect to see Florida play.
  12. I'd like to see a game suspension for hits like that when the game is clearly over
  13. He may of just cost them the series, FLA will be looking for blood
  14. Domi ran Barkov. The Rat jumped in.
  15. He made a great move, stayed on forehand, read the play perfectly. 30 playoff goals in his career, already.
  16. All made possible by a massive defensive blunder. Both McCabe and Tanev left Bennet alone.
  17. Bennett is a classic playoff player.
  18. I was disagreeing that I don't care about the players we trade having success but not about making trades for immediate success. As such my worries won't alleviate until we are good again which is what I said prior but I guess it was misinterpreted.
  19. GMKA will get fleeced…that or overpay to retain him
  20. You reacted with a negative emoji to the following: “I don’t care if a player has success after he leaves Buffalo. I just want trades that improve the team NOW.” That tells me you are more concerned with a player doing well outside of Buffalo than Buffalo improving from the trade. If any given trade makes Buffalo better, why would anyone care that the player leaving Buffalo plays well? All that matters is Buffalo gets better.
  21. Lots of hitting. Especially Florida, they are rugged.
  22. Well what exactly are you proposing because I'm sure as hell not doing another rebuild or trading our top players for grinders
  23. Like when a shiny new prospect comes into the organization... I kid. But do I? I don't even know 😂. I'm.. Not sober
  24. Toronto with 4 penalties in the 1st, you know that the refs are itching to give FLA one to even it up a bit.
  25. Great Mother’s Day for the entire family. The big steak dinner put on by yours truly is over, and everyone is gone. Hockey time in the Man Cave. Time to savor one more glass of Ruffino Chianti that I shipped back from Tuscany.
  26. Yesterday
  27. Im shocked and happy that I get NHL hockey in Grenada. Just popped on ESPN in the room and here is the FLA game! Rum punch and hockey, let's go!
