Antifa: Domestic terrorist organization

As much as they spend on Youtube and other social media sources. Society is continually trained into a scenario of hate anyone not like you. -
for starters (and just my guess), they’d miss the window of time during which they want people to buy those $200 jerseys as gifts during the winter holidays. this is mostly a merch promo event. i think marketing can be capricious this way. you don’t necessarily need to be on the nose. i also allow for the possibility that the overwhelming reaction could be in line with yours — “wtf - why this now?”
-
Agents were waiting for the market to be set. It has been.
-
But why not do it on the picturesque landscape of falling snow in mid December. If they show a bunch of snow filled highlights to coincide with the event I’m going to be even more perplexed.
-
And it was a good play by the defense, and just a hair overthrown. If that ball was about a foot shorter, I can see Coleman winning the catch.
-
it’s forecast to be a beautiful summer like day and evening. I don’t think they ever intended the theme of this game to coincide literally with the weather. it’s a nationally televised game where they will celebrate the team’s legacy with winter weather games. i’m sure they hope to sell a sh1t ton of those “icy” whiteout jerseys — with SNF helping them hit/exceed their targeted #s as they approach the winter months.

Injury update, Sept 26, 2025: Samuelsson Week to Week

Can we agree to only start threads on Greenway, Norris and Samuelsson to announce they are healthy rather than injured? I feel like that would be a more productive thread, since saying they are injured again is almost obvious at this point. -

Day to day during training camp is probably the equivalent of icing a bruise during the season. They’re not going to mess with even the most minor thing. -
Nope. It’s that sissy Komorov in his place. Guy literally got his face broken last season in a fight. This is the guy they want to get a look at? Sigh.

Im officially on the “what the ***** does our strength and conditioning coaches do” bandwagon. -
It’s usually the NHL that completely botches logistical things like this but the Bills are going to “bring the storm” on October 5th? Rain maybe but we are still a ways off from snow. Why would this be scheduled for late November / December. Feels like they missed the target with this one.

Kicking and screaming inside Mrtka’s equipment bag.

This is where the Parise/Suter buyouts come into effect. They were both bought out months before the 5x$9 was signed. Move one + a protected 1st + some retention. Move the other a year or two later. Guerin was dealing with a flat cap at the time, so it needed to be done with care. But certainly they could have avoided a couple of the monster ($12M+ on the cap for neither player in the lineup) cap hits seasons which they could have maybe gotten Kaprizov for another season or two and another helpful 4D or 3W or something. Like 6x$9.5M or 7x$10M and jettison Suter (even if not great in the room) in the summer of 2024 for a smaller cap hit. Edit: And I forgot to add, but Kaprizov may have been dead set on being UFA at 29 all along so he could land one more massive payday before his wheels started to slow. But in sum: Yay for the players.
-
Now that Kaprisov has agreed to an 8 year $17M AAV, Alex can say that he’s worth at least $10 million a year.
-
I just mean if they're doing construction i don't expect in-season loss of seats each year. Like they'll do some, then do the season, then do the rest or something like that.
-
HC Ruff says you will get Geertsen and you will like it. Such a versatile Geertsen. VersatGeertsen! Stop trying to make VersatGeertsen happen!
-
They initially gave Kaprizov a 5 year $9 million contract after one year in the league. They did pay him early. He's just fortunate that his contract was ending at the right time. Dahlin and Tage? Their previous contracts ended a couple years too early for their bank accounts.
-
Those were the free spending days of Ville Leino and Christian Ehrhoff. 😂 Touche.
-
And this is why you pay your young stars early. It bites you in the ass occasionally (Power) but Dahlin and Tage making roughly half of Kaprizov is noteworthy.

That's a implies that the Pegula era before Eichel the franchise was firmly on the tracks. That's certainly a take.
