This Kuntar is making a name for himself

I wrote this 2 months ago and nearly all of it has come to pass. The 9th item - offense regression - has sadly become the poster for this season. Kulich and Benson are out for who knows for how long. Norris didn’t even last one game. Zucker is also injured. Quinn isn’t progressing and McLeod has regressed (also as predicted, but not as bad as I feared. Only Doan has impressed. Also Tuch and Tage haven’t stepped up as leaders when necessary. The goaltending is still bad and the defense, especially now with Dahlin out indefinitely, is as bad as ever. Kesselring hasn’t been good, although Timmins has been ok. The PP still sucks. Add all this together and this team is already competing for the top overall draft pick. Terry fire Adams and start again

It was 11/11. I highly doubt Adams attending the Leafs game yesterday had anything to do with the GM meeting.

Ok, I reacted a bit to your negativity. It’s fully understandable and I do like most all of your posts. I get why you are upset with this team. I used the term outmanned and you strongly disagreed. Could be generational? Look at the Buffalo and Colorado rosters last night and it’s easy to that the Sabres are “outmanned”. I mean look how many call ups were playing. Maybe that term doesn’t resonate with you? Both teams dressed 18 skaters and 2 goalies but I think you can see the disparity in the players. Add to that how much better the Avs are coached and the refinement their players have in playing a system they understand and buy into.

I'm clearly in the minority here. I actually liked the way the team had been playing to start the year. I'm no KA defender and never will be....but to say this team has not been severely impacted by roster injuries would be horribly unfair. This roster has been gutted.

Yes unfortunately, the Sabres are for real. Being a Sabres fan is much like Charles Hall walking with the Tall Whites, We keep telling ourselves it’s not real, but it’s right in front of us. 😂

It’s abundantly clear that TP needs to clean house and fast. Will he? Probably not. Should he, we all know it’s a yes. The rest of the league is salivating at the possibility they can pillage KA for his top guys, for pennies on the dollar. The time really does feel like now.

I think I'm burnt out by this team. It just makes me feel angry and sad and hopeless.

My whole point is that they shouldn't be outmanned. It has nothing to do with getting a grip. People like you who tell others to 'get a grip' on a message board are probably the ones that actually do need to get a grip. This is a message board, a place to vent, to complain, to cheer (when its appropriate). Some of us don't take it any more seriously than that. Someone that feels the need to tell others to not be so negative on a message board...that is the prson that needs to breathe and relax. For the rest of us (at least me), venting/talking/complaining on here is cathartic.

Good grief you are going to make yourself sick with all the negativity. I’m talking about yesterday’s game, not 10 or 13 years ago. Get a grip, breathe, relax. They were clearly outmanned. Being in your prime has nothing to do with it. Look at the talent difference between the team. McKinnon and Maker are two of the best players in the league. The Sabres are bottom feeders that played with a bunch of AHL players.
