  1. Past hour
  2. Went to the hawks at 25
  3. Well the source was full of 💩
  4. Trade Byram for futures, take those future and a prospect and get Robertson
  5. Today
  6. Some are more ready than others.
  7. Pretty sad when you can almost see the writing on the wall of another 80-85 point season.
  8. True. But on track means more than scoring goals, he has to be stronger at both ends of the rink.
  9. Wish they drafted or traded for a non *****. HELP NOW type…. we have too many Power girls as it is. ….. yes I’m old and pissed and miss the hell outta real hockey. …. It used to matter ….. Buffalo wasn’t a joke. …. Pfffft
  10. Bottom five NHL team in the league unless they get a massive power forward who can score in the top six
  11. Confused it with ABV during negotiations?
  12. Well we certainly have some of those if they are looking for prospects or Protected 1sts in 2026
  13. I had to Google that to get the joke.
  14. It's the draft. Nobody is NHL ready.
  15. Back from a night out with great music, etc. So.. my only thought is.. when people post a tweet from someone I've never heard of.. am I supposed to act like it's an opinion I should care about? I feel like i should tweet something and get someone here to post it.. because I need legitimacy in my life. They sign people, boo hoo. They trade people, boo hoo. They do nothing, boo hoo. I'm at a loss... everything is wrong.. all of it.
  16. Good pick, no issues. Now let's not see you in a Sabres uniform for at least 4 years. 1 more year in WHL 2 years in AHL and then let's see where he is.
  17. Hopefully you don’t get any stains on it
  18. Mr.t reaction to Sabres selection
  19. Quinn was the Sabres' first round pick in 2021, 8th overall. The position he plays is different, but are we to expect a comparable level of play from Mrtka in 4 years?
  20. Oh if McQueen is healthy he's Getzlaf and he will be the steal of the draft, but it's a gamble. Ducks willing to gamble so we shall see how it goes. I see Mrtka as a safe conservative pick. You can't teach that sort of size and he's likely to become something decent, but it'll take several years. I'd rather have traded the pick than make this one. Or just go for the grit and character and take Bear. Really hate Detroit getting Bear. Did I say that enough yet? Probably keep saying it forever.
  21. I’m getting that jersey.
  22. Pittsburgh's the team that I found odd in this draft. Maybe they are smarter but their picks seem out of place.
  23. Imma just leave this here
  24. I usually post on the Bills board. I've followed the Sabres in the past, but 14 years of futility have been hard to deal with. I think any pick thew Sabres could have made at #9 overall would have felt like a bit of a disappointment. Kevin Adams is probably facing a do or die season this year and nobody Buffalo could have picked would contribute this upcoming season. Anything other than a trade that could bring immediate and significant help was doomed to be a failure. The problem is good veteran players don't want to come to the Sabres. Other teams know that the Sabres are desperate, and they are only too happy to try and take advantage. Those are tough circumstances in which to make a profitable trade. It sounds as if Mrtka could contribute in a few years. Next season will most likely be spent in juniors again. After that there will be 2 or 3 years in Rochester. Then, maybe we'll see if he has anything to offer the Sabres. If the Sabres have any hope of breaking the playoff drought, they had better hope their pipeline bears some fruit and they get some help from Rochester.
  25. Maybe once the new stadium is complete the Sabres will be allowed to spend to the cap, who the hell am I kidding
  26. Apparently there was not a counteroffer made by Allan Walsh to the Sabres initial offer.
