  1. Past hour
  2. It would be a huge improvement if Norris can be the faceoff guy they’ve been missing since O’Reilly and Eichel left.
  3. Not endorsing the song in the lead. None of them are particularly good goal songs. But Chelsea Dagger is a great goal song and can't see ANY teams coming out on the ice to it. Just sayin'.
  4. Gives an indication that, as many here have suggested, that they're planning on having Mrtka spend this year in Junior. Not surprisingly the Norris line has been tilting the ice in the Sabres favor. Dahlin off the draw. 1-0
  5. For those negging on this (not Brawndo): Is there somewhere else we expected them to play?
  6. If you are blocked by the Sabres website from watching the game download the redwings app. You can watch it from there , no matter where you are located.
  7. Benson - Norris - Thompson Zucker - McLeod - Tuch Quinn - Kulich - Doan Seems that those will be the opening night lines IMO from preseason so far. I don’t think I love the Quinn Kulich Doan, I’d rather shelter Kulich a little more still
  8. I am enjoying watching Mrtka. He’ll probably be the first prospect I have ever really cared to keep tabs on development.
  9. looks like Ryan Johnson gets a Crack at Samuelsson spot.
  10. I gotta think the song that is in the lead is just fans of other teams voting to make us an even bigger laughing stock how is that a goal song? Can you imagine a pro wrestler or a Football team coming out to this song?? I mean, shouldn't a goal song have emotion, aggression and want to fire people up ?
  11. I had high hopes for a bounce back from him this season, too. Man, early on, he just made so many plays that seemed so effortless and understated I though he was going to be a great one,… and then he got signed. He’s young enough for me to still have hope for him.
  12. This should turn the franchise completely around. Remember this date.
  13. Of all the songs, I like his idea the least. Well, maybe second least because I don’t understand the Oasis song at all.
  14. As much as I like Tuch the Sabres have convinced me they can lose with or without him. I’d prefer to let the next GM figure a way out of this mess.
  15. Today
  16. It would seem to be the same result wouldn’t you think?
  17. Start him in Rochester on an injury rehab designation and see if he can jump start himself against AHL rewards.
  18. Which seems to be exactly how they're coached to do so. (Not saying they necessarily would be more aggressive / better in their own end with actual coaching; but when the coaching is good with just trying to passively take away passing lanes, guys that are predisposed to that style won't be incentivized to adjust.)
  19. Figures that Jeremy White wouldn't be able to work an effective bot farm. Thankfully. Too early to say, but maybe we dodged at least THAT bullet.
  20. Well put, they watch things happen instead of making things happen. Power has a bit of offensive skill, Mule has the skill and creativity of his pet name.
  21. Should Bobrovsky have an extended absence, do they have a Lyon to save their bacon again? Missing your top player all season, your best power forward for nearly half of it, and a world class goalie would be a tough row to hoe. Especially when you factor in there will be other players missing a game or 2 here or there.
  22. Update on the voting from the Sabres socials
  23. What was extra funny about that season (2019) is that the Giants and Jets didn't combine for more Meadowlands wins until week 10, when one of them was guaranteed a win because they played each other.
  24. Money is all that matters, no one really cares about Charlie Kirk or what happened in the end. The only thing that matters is making money off of it.
  25. Pretty straight forward really Plays defense exactly how Power does, passively.
  26. That's not a line. It's Zucker - McLeod - Tuch Benson - Norris - Thompson
  27. my pet theory - based on total speculation - is this: samuelsson doesn’t actually like being a pro hockey player. son of a very good nhl’er. he was big. moved reasonably well. got on the pro hockey development train. it’s a life that chose him, not the life he chose. he just seems so uncommitted. so equivocal.
