You have got to provide a link to the Hamilton interview. Come on PA, you can find it and then do the copy and paste thingy. -

Yes and I don't know what Bill Hoppe is on. Olean Times Herald headline: Sabres’ Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen starts important season with conditioning assignment in Rochester: ‘I feel great’ Important season? Sure, the one where you ended up on the end of the bench. Lindy better get this right. -

Traveling between Buffalo and Toronto, no. If they lose KA will say it does though. -
The Rochester Americans (2-2-0-0) prepare to host their second home game of the season as they face-off with the undefeated Syracuse Crunch (4-0-0-0) tonight at Blue Cross Arena. Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen was reassigned to Rochester on a conditioning stint and will start tonight. Amerks alternate captain Brendan Warren is slated to play in his 200th game as an Amerk, becoming the 63rd forward in franchise history to reach said milestone.

A factor in any discussion about making deals to improve the team is underpinned by who is making the deals. Judging the cumulative performance of dealer is a fair consideration. If you went to a surgeon who botched a hemorrhoid surgery by mistakenly plugging the hole, would you go back to the same surgeon to correct the butchery?

Clearly they feel he is better than Georgiev, who has sucked for multiple seasons now, and sucked in the chances he got here as well.

So in reading a little more about the guy, he just seems to be anti bull sh*t. He faced down Hammy. Not easy. He is a goalie who rejects superstitions. And this: Sabres.com: You grew up on an island (on the Lake of the Woods in Minnesota) going to a one-room school with your sister until age 7. What was that experience like? Lyon: “The story actually stretches further every time somebody writes about it.” And this: - Today

https://www.nhl.com/sabres/news/how-to-watch-buffalo-sabres-detroit-red-wings-lineup The Buffalo Sabres will be put to the test against one of the league’s hottest early-season teams when the Detroit Red Wings visit KeyBank Center on Wednesday. Detroit sits atop the Atlantic Division at 5-1-0 to begin the season, currently riding a five-game winning streak after dropping its season opener against Montreal. The group has been driven by known commodities (captain Dylan Larkin) and surprising contributors (rookie forward Emmitt Finnie) alike. It will be another opportunity for the Sabres, who bounced back from an 0-3 start with division wins against Ottawa and Florida before losing a competitive game in Montreal on Monday. Zach Benson continued his strong start in the loss to the Canadiens, registering a career-high seven shots while tallying an assist to extend his point streak to three games. He’s one of three players in franchise history to have six assists or more in his first three games of a season, joining Jack Eichel and Thomas Vanek. The puck drops at 7:30 p.m. Here’s what you need to know in the meantime. Larkin was named NHL First Star of the Week on Monday after scoring four goals and nine points in Detroit’s last four wins, including a three-point night in the team’s most recent victory against Edmonton on Saturday. Finnie – a seventh-round draft pick in 2023 who played his way onto the NHL roster in training camp – has opened the season playing on Larkin’s wing, tallying five points (2+3) while applying a hard-nosed, two-way game. Detroit has outscored opponents 7-1 with Larkin and Finnie on the ice at 5-on-5 this season. The duo is now joined by last year’s leading scorer in Lucas Raymond, who missed three games with an injury. The Red Wings will be without another key forward in Patrick Kane, who is out for at least the next two games with an upper-body injury.

Does 2 hours make a difference in a back to back?

Always thought the Sharks were the best trade fit for us, Tippet from the flyers is buzzing around as being avialable as well, but would want the flyers to add.

Not wrong... Doesn't say much about a "team" when the best player on a 2-4 team is the goalie. -

LYON I have fallen hard in hockey love. -
I like the idea of trading Power. And I'm not all that down on the player. I recognize that he has flaws, naturally. My concern: It's so difficult to make a "hockey trade" once the season starts.
-
Not at all. We were discussing a possible trade of Power and I went to look at Adams trade history to try to formulate a trade that made sense. As I reviewed the trades it became apparent what Adams moves have done to destroy the roster. Adams traded away Eichel, Reinhart, Cozens and Mitts leaving the Sabres without a proven and heathy top 6 center. Instead the Sabres have oft injured shoot first Norris, a developing middle 6 in Kulich, 3rd liner McLeod and two 4th liners in Krebs and Kozak. None of these guys are playmakers.
