Ruff, after the season was over, then wanted to fire the assistants. TP said no but KA wanted to. Jarmo wants to keep one of them but won't say which one. Jarmo told Staal which one but he pinky sweared not to tell anyone. Now TP is giving Staal the silent treatment. 6 top level assistants outside of the organization called Ruff and want to come here. Guelli set up a teams call at a time Ruff could only call in. He had his microphone rigged through IT, so the assistants thought he was ignoring them and all took other jobs.

Friedman says he has sources telling him the Sabres are looking to deal prospects for players. Hopefully this is right. We're playoff bound if we can get a starting goalie that can give us 50-60 games at the level Reimer played at last year, and a partner for Power. Hopefully that will put some butts in seats and Pegula makes us a cap team again. From there we'll have a good window to continue to build the core.

Oh I totally get that. I know a lot of Bruins fans are having trouble cheering for Florida for similar reasons. Marchand, understandable, Lucic, for sure, but Chara? Big beast on the ice but he's a really good guy. I never saw him in that same "rat" boat. I have respect for him.

I understand your position. However, when you go to the card table and the dealer asks you if want another card, you have to make a decision before knowing the outcome. I'm simply playing the odds as to what I think is likely to happen. My leaning toward KA taking some actions this offseason is that there is a lot of pressure on him to do so. When you are being squeezed you usually have to react. That's how I see it.
