what an absolute delight that game turned out to be. a lovely capping off of the long holiday weekend. beat the bengals!

It takes more than some improvement on defense to change the team. Why are we still are the bottom? 1. Terrible goaltending. Below average save % overall and 5 in 5 illustrates that despite the improved defense, the goalies are allowing to many goals. 2. The offense is down year over year. Last season we scored 3.28 goals per game, now we are at 2.96. Injuries are a factor, but our shooting % has fallen from nearly 12% down to just over 10%. Our differential last season was -20 for the season. We are already at -10 for 25 games. With the goaltending worse and scoring down, this is a worse team than last year despite an incremental improvement on defense. 1 step forward two steps back. Shuffling deck chairs on the Titanic?

I'm sure the NLL loves having one franchise that can draw 19K on a regular basis. But with the Bandits being so dominant, none of if the other teams can get their fans pumped up like ours. Keep in mind Bandits ticket prices are half what Sabres prices are. More people can afford to go to games. It helps they are the class of the league.

Finished up our Stranger Things rewatch and the 4 new episodes so don't have anything planned but watching this tonight. Really hope for a fun game but this team shows all the inconsistency that the least experienced team in the league would.

Adams doesn't add to the top 6, he just switches it up. Cozens out for Norris. Peterka out for Doan. Even if these players are upgrades (no Norris jokes please) how much can 1 guy really do when we aren't talking about McDavid or MacKinnon? The one trade Kevyn Adams cannot and has not completed is trading X, Y, Z for an established top 6 player. Closest we have is Savoie for McLeod.

Going to my first game of the year BECAUSE of the 730 start. 730 start lets you grab some food and drinks beforehand without feeling squeezed. I'm feeling pretty good about them winning 2 in a row.

I only just learned Amazon Prime has an NHL package in Canada only. Tonight's game is part of their Monday Night Prime schedule. Probably why the game starts at 7:30. You can watch the Prime telecast if you have ESPN+.

Hopefully the return of Norris. Hopefully he gives us at least 2 games this time before going back to IR.

Aaron Rogers will be a first ballot HOF member, maybe even a unanimous selection. I’m aware he is afflicted with injuries but it is evident that at this stage he’s a shell of a player that he once was. I’m sure this will be his last year.

Back in the day they always started at 7:30. For me in the central time zone it gives a bit more time to finish up with work, walk the dog and pick up dinner.

My friend’s daughter works for the Federal Reserve. She’s very smart. Whenever I see her I jokingly ask her what is crypto. She then jokingly responds: I don’t know. The Jets (13-11-0) are also on their fourth game in six nights, and tonight is the fourth stop on a five-game road trip for Winnipeg. This may be an Eric Comrie revenge game as Connor Charles Hellebuyck is on IR after knee surgery. Tage Nathaniel Thompson leads the Sabres in goal scoring with 12 goals and nine assists. Alex Daniel Tuch leads the team in points (8G 14A for 22PTS). Joshua Thomas Doan has four goals and three assists over the past ten games. As a team, the Sabres shooting percentage is 10.34%, good for 19th in the league. Kyle David Connor has 12 goals and 17 assists for the Jets. Mark Scheifele leads the team in points (13G 18A for 31 PTS). Defenseman Joshua Morrissey has three goals and eight assists over the last ten games. As a team, the Jets shooting percentage is 11.85%, good for eighth in the league. Last ten games as a team: Sabres: 5-5-0, averaging 3.4 goals while giving up 3.4 goals per game. Jets: 4-6-0, averaging 2.9 goals while giving up 3.3 goals per game.

If the Bengals somehow win out we would likely win the division because of the 5-1 mark in the division as the tiebreaker. If they had only won even one of those nutty games without Burrow...

It's a funny thing but there are always lots of good stats on Sabres teams but there we are, last place with the lowest win percentage in the east.

He’s had some bad games, but they usually coincide with bad Sabres games overall. However he was excellent against Minn and has been good the majority of games this season. If you look at his PT, Ruff seems to play him 20+ when he’s going well.

Yes I would most definitely trade Byram. Didn't see anything from Kesselring that impressed me. Disappointed actually but the sample size is small. imo Timmons has dropped off substantially and currently is very very average at best.

Well I'm seeing them end up as goals for the opposition.

It sure looked rather one dimensional during the game. Allen to Cook for the run or pass. They need weapons for Josh but I know I'm preaching to the choir.
