  1. Past hour
  2. Money is all that matters, no one really cares about Charlie Kirk or what happened in the end. The only thing that matters is making money off of it.
  3. Pretty straight forward really Plays defense exactly how Power does, passively.
  4. That's not a line. It's Zucker - McLeod - Tuch Benson - Norris - Thompson
  5. my pet theory - based on total speculation - is this: samuelsson doesnโ€™t actually like being a pro hockey player. son of a very good nhlโ€™er. he was big. moved reasonably well. got on the pro hockey development train. itโ€™s a life that chose him, not the life he chose. he just seems so uncommitted. so equivocal.
  6. Chicago has the pick in the Seth Jones deal.
  7. Boogie Nights is a damn masterpiece. Super excited for One Battle After Another
  8. Good point by Shrader, Iโ€™m not sure. Still I donโ€™t think picture of health would ever be an apt descriptor of the man I met him once at a club here, shook his hand (actually true). He complained of a broken finger afterwords (not actually true) Canโ€™t polish a turd
  9. Not caring where you play is a learned thought process, as hockey prospects begin an early non traditional life. He'd train in Vancouver if he played for any other organization. I'd have to research but I'm guessing players don't train in the city they play at least partially until other things manifest. I.E. married with kids living in the city they play / longer term contract.
  10. I think they have too much talent to fall that far. They weather the storm until Tkachuk is back around Christmas and they continue to tread water.
  11. If Tage is already close to asking out, then Tuch isn't the linchpin. I'm not trying to say I don't understand what you're saying. However if we sign Tuch and still lose Tage as you suggest as being already half way there. To me that would mean that's an entirely different discussion than lumping Tuch into that. A lot would have to happen and be true for what you suggested. I used Benson as a parallel argument. If this, then ... can be speculated.
  12. Today
  13. Who has their 1st this coming draft? Should the Swamp Cats have 1 or 2 more injuries, that team might've lucked into a top 16 pick when they were expecting to get something between 26 and 32. Kind of an inverse of when the Sabres traded O'Reilly away.
  14. May the force be with you! Wait...they are not just rolling over for us? That looks like a decent lineup. Didn't they get the memo?
  15. Might be a great prop bet (or not) for Vegas should the Bills open on the road vs the J-E-S-T jest Jest JEST or the Jints: in what week will the J-E-S-T jest Jest JEST and Jints combined have more wins in Met Life than the Buffalo Bills have. Would put it somewhere around weeks 8-10 this year. Though that could be giving the denizens of Met Life too much credit.
  16. Kinda like my ESPN+ subscription.
  17. Nice FO time. Will tune into this when I get back from seeing Wishbone Ash tonight. looking forward to seeing Mrtka and Helenius out of the prospects and (if it is actually a line) Tage, Zucker, Tuch.
  18. Am interested to see who ends up with Helenius and Rosen (presuming those 2 will be together) and which D ends up paired with Timmons in Samuelsson's spot. First look at Tuch this year too and the revamped McLeod line. Almost intriguing enough to drive in to watch, but not quite. Streaming it is.
  19. Considering they didn't even have a framework of a new deal moving forward and the current lease runs out in 4 days, probably about the best we could've hoped for at this time.
  20. Should be a good revenge game if Detroit sends their expected B squad. Yay! Radio-only. But, aside, it's OK it's radio-only for me because today's the big day! I have a little pet project to make a comic book/graphic novel out of a Lego car race at a Lego version of Road America. Today is knee-killing principal photography day. How is this relevant for 'Space? The Buffalo Sabres Black sweater car won the pole position in qualifying. You can imagine how that will turn out.
  21. What else do we have?
  22. Keyword there being failed. But in reality, did the GM really go after any big-dollar free agents, or did the GM say that they went after them. Because those are two very different things. The more important point is that the team needed a veteran #1 goalie, a position easily filled throughout the past 6 seasons for just $5M. And they also needed an in-their-prime defensive top-4 defenseman who would push Samuelsson down the lineup and push Bryson out entirely. Even better if he were right-handed to pair with Power, but he could've been a lefty 5 seasons ago. That player type runs $4-5.5M as well. And they needed someone to replace Quinn while he was out and then while he was returned-but-still-recovering from serious injury. Adams didn't do anything of things and had plenty of cash to do so.
  23. Helenius again. Thats an interesting trend. His 4th game. Might be 4 for Kozak too. 3rd for Dunne, Rosen, Mrtka and Geertsen.
  24. This is yet another fine outcome for Adams. This was the off-season to get out from under that contract; but as usual, Adams is slow to act and too dense to decide. Now we're stuck with a sub par-injury prone player that has essentially turned his back on the team and tucked his tail when we needed him last season. Bravo, truly Turd
