  1. Past hour
  2. Terry loves the boy. The Peter Principle is real. I have seen this, and much worse, and it goes on in very high places.
  3. Disappointed Novikov isn't being used more.
  4. Will UPL see some playing time in the next 3 games? If Lyon and Georgiev keep playing well I wonder if Uppie goes on IR to stash him and buy some time for decisions?
  5. This was the year to move on from Bryson, yet they rushed to re-sign him. Because Adams said he is a great teammate that wants to be here. He doesn't complain when he is scratched, even for long periods. I want guys that hate sitting out.
  6. Fun roster. Power-Kesselring get playing time for familiarity. Beyond that, it's a cornucopia of bottom 6 and potential Rochester call-ups -- minus Kozak who already played back-to-back and many NHL games last year. Ruff knows what he has in Kozak. Detroit's "home" roster had better obliterate this team. If the Sabres hold the Wings to fewer than 24 shots, 1 goal or less, and win it going away with an empty-netter to make it 4-1 with 1:30 remaining... it's playoffs!
  7. UPL hasnโ€™t even started any camp activities so he wonโ€™t be ready for start of season. It will be Georgiev-Lyon to start and they will build UPL back up. I definitely see a situation where they keep 3 goalies on the roster until they figure out where everything stands. Tough break for UPL as he really needed to come in with a strong camp and rebound from last season. Real opportunity for Georgiev or Lyon to take the reins early if they can find their games.
  8. Bryson as an 8 (or better yet, waived, cleared to Rochester and still the #8) is OK if you have a solid top 6 and he only needs to fill in for limited minutes in 15 games. He's got wheels and NHL experience. It was the early extension that didn't make sense. At the time, they had JBD and Ryan Johnson. Either of them could be the 7 (who will play 40 games) if you go out and get a top-4 D-man for Power like they needed to do. JBD, of course, had played with Power and looked alright down the stretch, but the shopping list still needed the experienced defensive/crease-clearing RHD type for Power.
  9. Pretty much the road Columbus game roster with a few changes. Helenuis canโ€™t say he didnโ€™t get a look. Interested to see how Georgiev plays.
  10. This game is not on ESPN+, nor is the next DET game on 9/27. 10/1 vs PIT will be but the 10/3 PIT game is supposed to be on NHLN.
  11. Everyone in the locker room likes him! ๐Ÿ˜‡
  12. Perhaps it's a message to Quinn?
  13. I have been saying for years now that as long as Jacob Bryson is on this team they will not make the playoffs. I am still completely ***** baffled why he was re-signed in March of 2025 when the Sabres were last in the Division. The team couldn't be any worse and you're already re-signing fringe depth pieces instead of even exploring improving that area? It's such a joke.
  14. It was an immediate sign that nothings really changed. Kesselring, Doan and to a lesser extent Danforth, Timmons and Jones are fine additions but the Sabres cannot continue to employ 5โ€™9โ€ dmen unless they are Brian Campbell or Lane Hutson. Having a run of the mill defenseman so undersized he simply cannot effectively play in the position in the NHL.
  15. Helenius is going again. That's interesting, maybe he will be a first callup... or they just want him to get experience before ahl all year.
  16. Idk if this one is on msg or espn or sabres.com, I'd assume wgr might have the call? Here's the roster:
  17. I don't even understand why Bryson was signed.
  18. Nope, just a Bills hoodie
  19. Today
  20. The Bryson dilemma makes me wonder what will happen firstโ€ฆโ€ฆthe Sabres part ways with Bryson or the Sabres make the playoffs?
  21. If recent history is anything to go by, Jones would be in the lineup for Samuelsson for at least 15-20 games, meaning Bryson is skating in place of anyone else who dinged up during that span.
  22. My worst nightmare is that they mis the playoffs again, have one of the best defensive groups, and are the most boring team in hockey to watch.
  23. Is it personalized or something? Thatโ€™s the only thing that should have a delay on it.
  24. UPLs status may play a role. If they need to carry 3 goalies on the roster, they may not have the ability to carry 8 D?
  25. The man has a point. Ice agents didn't need to hide their faces under the Obama administration, there was no need. As we all know, no president has deported more illegals than Obama. Now that there's a republican president, the radicalized violent left put ICE agents names and addresses on social media to target them and their families for harassment and violence. Democratic politicians and the radicalized left media encourage the violence unapologetically, so it has become a necessity for ICE agents to hide thier identity.
