  1. Past hour
  2. Healthcare specialists throwing other specialists/generalists under the bus because everyone is afraid of a F*cking lawsuit. Working as a team is a lost art
  3. Trying to stay positive about him, it can’t get much worse, can it?
  4. Some times bottom 3rd consistently is worse than bottom 3... but over 14 years we have been both and we have proven that we can screw both up... so there is that.... But to your point, especially in football when you must have a QB that 10-12 range is the worst to be in... Its why I look at teams like the Steelers and go.. dude cut bait and go get your guy..
  5. I tend to agree with you... I don't know how much TP needs to see to make him get rid of his Binky KA ... like rationalizing with a child... Dude, you are 14 time to leave Carlos the stuffed Cat home .... I do not believe he has this burning desire to win... he just doesn't want nightmares cause he doesn't have his Binky the only thing that is going to move him I believe is when the core players all head for the exit... he has proven that he doesn't care what the fans thing or what the results are.. that may be the only thing that gets him to act... we shall see...
  6. I think it will be more of a shot across the bow for OHL, WHL, USHL, etc. Which is totally fine by me. Talent gets spread across everywhere and you can't ever see your prospects play. Filter everybody through the NCAA -> Draft -> AHL -> NHL. Just like every other sport, intrnationals are all welcome to get a free American education and make a couple of bucks if they're lucky. Also add the AHL to the NHL Center Ice Package. NCAA is already part of ESPN. The NHL desperately needs to make hockey more accessible and do a better job of player access and story lines. That's especially true since you can draft a guy and never ever be able to see him for 3-4 years...if ever... The NCAA is the second best league in the world for loads of sports. It makes sense for the NHL to capitalize on it.
  7. Yes, that's why I still have hope for UPL. First year carrying the load in NHL isn't easy. Hopefully he learned how better to prepare, stay focused and move on from disappointment.
  8. I'm not concerned with him...if he is playing limited minutes. I'd prefer we keep the search for a C that can put up better than legit numbers as a 2C. I like him...there are better options and more opportune ways to utilize him.
  9. Today
  10. Spending 15 years as a hockey Dad, through minor, AAA and junior levels, I believe the toughest position mentally is goalie. The goalie parents were always stressed because an error ends up in our net while my kid throws someone a pizza or gets walked and can be bailed out by a teammate.
  11. The guy who got sh1t kicked is not deserving of much sympathy, if any. But the hockey goon overdid it. He seemed only too eager to oblige.
  12. I’m confused. He sounds so incredibly Canadian… but none of that was even remotely polite.
  13. Kesselring and Doan being good friends i think helps too. Like knowing you're moving across the country kinda sucks, but knowing you're going with your current roommate and buddy makes it a lot easier to adjust.
  14. People get all fired up over golf. I play and drink a bit and have a cigar, I'm truly awful, like shooting well over 100 for 18, that probably includes some kicks out of the thick stuff. When peeps are too serious I just let them play through because I'm in no rush. I typically stay to rural courses where it isn't so busy like near the city. I've seen so many "tussles" mostly between old cranky men that would never throw down, but would love to see this go down. Also, such very Canadian accents 😂😂 like letterkenny going down.
  15. Montreal might be somewhat of a paper tiger. They had a -20 goal differential which is the same as Buffalo and only 1 better than Detroit. That is worse than Calgary, Utah, Seattle, Minnesota, and Vancouver. Their defense is certainly better with Dobson. Lane Hutson is the perfect example of talent can trump size when it is elite. That is the biggest improvement to their team other than more experience. They got above average GT last year which really helped them as well, once they moved away from Cayden Primeau. The one thing I wonder about them is their forward group. Will it continue to have the depth scoring to be good? FTR, I am not saying Montreal won't make the playoffs or can't. They are just an interesting group because they have similarities to Buffalo but they got timely gt where Buffalo did not. They were able to sneak in even with some flaws and they are probably better now. Just an interesting team to watch to see if they hold onto their spot or if they can be beaten.
  16. The Bills were rarely a bottom 5 team during their 17 year playoff drought. They were endlessly in the 6-10/7-9/8-8 zone. Not the worst but not good enough. Limbo.
  17. Real recognizes real. This does not look staged at all.
  18. Actually, Brodie is such a good complimentary piece. he was on a STACKED U of Minn team. Snuggerud, Wood, Moore, Rinzel, and he was 7th on that team in points which for a mostly 18yr old (late Feb bday) is pretty solid. Ziemer and Helenius are both 5'11" 190lbs and play similar games.
  19. They’re hedging their bets with multiple options at least. I think that’s fair
  20. Is that the consensus? Actually asking, have not seen those discussions. Would it surprise you to learn that 9 teams have had worse records than the Buffalo Sabres over the past four years, who have never finished bottom five in that span? In answer to your question, not sure if it was bottom 5 in the league, but Montreal was consensus last in the division just this year and surprised. (Before anyone jumps on me for defending the Sabres, they suck, I’m just responding to his post.)
  21. I think Brody Ziemer is one of those guys that if you keep him and you use patience, you may end up with the perfect 3rd line winger. We're talking 40pts and just nasty to play against. I love me some Ziemer.
  22. Best thing Sabres related I’ve seen in years. Sign him Kevyn. In the best least, have him give motivational speeches between periods.
  23. i think this is when the younger crowd would say "fafo"
  24. If you don't have a baseline competency for what you expect of the president of the united states, or even a baseline level of morality you would expect that position to show towards their own citizenry, I can't give you one and frankly I can't help you at all. You are essentially abdicating your rights as a citizen and your responsibility therein to play fence sitter, which doesn't mean you are in the middle. It means you have already chosen a side.
