Not sure if this warrants a whole thread, but I didn't see ones for Kesserling or Greenway, just Zucker. Feel free to delete/merge this if that's preferred. I was hoping we'd see Kesserling this weekend, but hopefully he can go Tuesday. Can't say I'm say I'm shocked Greenway has no ETA. Guy is always hurt.

Hey hey hey. So a stinger is when one of the nerves (typically in the neck/shoulder) either gets compressed or stretched out, usually it's compression from a hit. When it happens with enough force the muscles controlled by siad nerve kind of quit working correctly. In the neck C4-C7 control most of arm and hand so a stinger could include pain and paralysis (temporarily) anywhere in the arm. Ever fall asleep on your arm and it goes numb and tingly, essentially a stinger is the same thing only more abrupt and more painful. Most players come back from a stinger, but it's the surrounding inflammation from the injury that may keep players out as that I flammation can continue to press the nerve causing issues until resolved.

He has every accessory you can think of so its enough. I wear a tie pin for special occasions only - weddings, funerals, big family parties or events. It was made from pieces of my mothers wedding ring. Each of the sons have one but I seem to be the only one that wears it. I like the vest too but I can't pull that off. Works better for leaner builds. The hat is awesome for fall and winter. There is a hat shop at Niagara on the Lake, I looked for a hat similar to that one when I was there this summer but did not find one.

I have a sneaky suspicion we're gonna see Tage go off this weekend. 7 games in he only has 1 goal and that was a fluky "toss it to the net" that somehow went in. He's been showing flashes so far, and I've been thinking it's only a matter of time before he finds his groove. I predict he scores 2 tonight.

The 5 headed Goalie Monster - What is the solution?

At least one of the 2 breakouts that Ellis saves are in the net if old slow hands UPL is the goalie IMO Depending on his mood, possibly BOTH go in UPL isn't the solution. He's never been the solution. I say it with the upmost confidence, based on prior performance, that he'll NEVER be the solution!!!! He one of the players that drag this team down IMO It's time to see what else is out there... -

The Sabres have a huge opportunity to shut up the visiting leafs fans and give our crowd something to cheer about. Then turn around tomorrow and suck the life out of a Toronto crowd hyped for the World Series. Weekends like this going right is how you win back a fanbase. I’ll be watching with my two year old. Give us something to cheer about, boys! Go Sabres.

Is the tie clip with the vest going too far? Or not enough?

Nah. Ellis is a 3rd round pick who was slated to be St. Louis' AHL started/Levi equivalent this season. Houser is a career ECHLer who made it to Buffalo via goalie attrition when Adams' "750k" plan was in full effect. Outplaying Dell. Anderson, Luukkonen, Subban all injured. Tokarski out with COVID. etc. And yes, Houser has the best numbers with the Sabres of any of them. -
It is basically a pinched nerve where an extremity goes numb I believe. And the best sub in world!

Thank the LORD!

It's the above-mentioned (UPL, and his "moods") which frightens me. Guy has, from an outsider's perspective, always seemed to be a buzz kill, or a momentum killer. His energy/chi/what-have-you feels off! The whole team plays a better game when he's NOT in net, IMO. Whatever the reason(s) may be, this team plays better, sans UPL. You can't remove him from this org FAST enough for my liking. 14+ years of futility which includes UPLs tenure as netminder has been soul-killing! ENOUGH of this!!! Wave/trade/erase the bastard, take your chances elsewhere (which, the early returns appear to be positive ones), and see what comes of it! If for no other reason, this most recent UPL-less run has the feels of something different, and in a good way IMO. His sub 0.900 sav% can't be THAT difficult to find a permanent replacement for???
