I don't understand why people call ineffective hockey a lack of effort. There was plenty of effort. Lack of offense? For sure. But no lack of effort.

it might have been the best period I have seen this year from Power and Kesserling. Power had that one puck that I saw that he fumbled but other than that, they were both in position, both either skated or moved the puck out quickly, no big neutral zone mistakes.

I missed about 5 minutes of the period, but from what I saw, they both had a really good period.

Maybe it’s game scheme dependent but it just seems we don’t have a lot of jump coming out of our zone. We don’t have guys that put their head down and try to beat the defense. With the finesse/speed team Adams has been drafting for, it would seem some of them would have that type of game.
