Eleven Posted Tuesday at 01:06 PM Report Posted Tuesday at 01:06 PM If the Dodgers win this series by one game, the decision to pitch to Ohtani will and should go down as the dumbest managerial decision since John McNamara left Bill Buckner at first base. Quote
Wyldnwoody44 Posted yesterday at 03:06 AM Report Posted yesterday at 03:06 AM Well 2-2 and ohtani was human. At least one more game guaranteed in Toronto. If tix were 700$+ for cheap seats, I would consider going Quote

But I'm not the biggest baseball fan, only really the world series. Besides, unless it's vacation/travel related I'm fairly thrifty, and I don't consider the 2.5 hour drive to Toronto a "vacation" 😂 if I could snag any seat for 250 that is probably my limit. Quote

matter2003 Posted 19 hours ago Report Posted 19 hours ago (edited) Dodgers may be the better team on paper, but they sure as hell don't look like it. Jays have been the better team on the field through 4 games. Edited 19 hours ago by matter2003 1 1 Quote

My major concern going in was which team could chase the other’s starter and get to each other’s weak bullpen. I’m shocked but not surprised that the Jays have done just that with the exception of Yamamoto. If they chase Snell again tonight, I like their chances to win one of two back home. Quote

Eleven Posted 6 hours ago Report Posted 6 hours ago (edited) I love Yesavage, how could one not, but Schneider will be making another mistake if he leaves Trey in for the 8th and 9th. Edited 6 hours ago by Eleven Quote

K-9 Posted 6 hours ago Report Posted 6 hours ago That was fantastic to see the Jays take two of three in Chavez Ravine. What poetic justice it would be to see them chase Yamamoto and wrap it up in Toronto in game six. 2 Quote
JoeSchmoe Posted 5 hours ago Author Report Posted 5 hours ago Great effort! They're firing on all cylinders even without a healthy Bo and Springer out of the lineup. Their biggest weak point all year was the bullpen, but adding Bassitt and Lauer to the mix has been huge. Varland and Hoffman rounding into form has helped a lot too. 1 Quote
