This game is not on ESPN+, nor is the next DET game on 9/27.  10/1 vs PIT will be but the 10/3 PIT game is supposed to be on NHLN.

Pretty much the road Columbus game roster with a few changes.

Helenuis can’t say he didn’t get a look.

Fun roster. Power-Kesselring get playing time for familiarity. Beyond that, it's a cornucopia of bottom 6 and potential Rochester call-ups -- minus Kozak who already played back-to-back and many NHL games last year. Ruff knows what he has in Kozak.

Detroit's "home" roster had better obliterate this team. 

If the Sabres hold the Wings to fewer than 24 shots, 1 goal or less, and win it going away with an empty-netter to make it 4-1 with 1:30 remaining...  it's playoffs!

Will UPL see some playing time in the next 3 games? If Lyon and Georgiev keep playing well I wonder if Uppie goes on IR to stash him and buy some time for decisions?

If they actually put Helenius on the roster and rush him, they need to move this team out of Buffalo. If they have not learned their lessons from the previous 100 mistakes of rushing players, I really do give up.

Rosen and Fiddler-Schultz getting Kozak's and Geertson's roster spots.  Wonder if Rosen will take Wahlberg's spot with Östlund and Helenius or if he'll take Kozak's spot on a checking line.  Expecting Fiddler-Schultz is getting Geertson's spot because he played both BJ games.

Wonder which AHLer will be the odd man out on D as am expecting Mrtka to play, so either Metsa or Rathbone would presumably be the one who's pressbox bound.

Does Georgiev get the start again with Levi taking mop up duty, or do they flip it to see how Georgiev does coming in to start the 3rd without a real warmup?

EDIT: So Johnson is odd man out.  And the original roster sheet was incorrect as it had Krebs in the lineup and Kozak out.  "Great" work guys and gals.

With Norris’ health always suspect until he shows he can play a full season, that’s one player we really need to stay healthy. Unless he’s been traded for Robertson….

edit: or, he had a skate issue or something.

Kulich tweaked a muscle and will be out 1-2days according to Ruff
