Do the fancy stats suggest he could actually support Dahlin? Rather than just be a plug Dahlin drags around the ice?

He was decent with Karlsson so yes. I assume you mean Timmins.

Baseball hitting rate would be great at 30%. But, but you might not as well even swing the bat.  
You can go out there in free agency and find guys that have played 100 games to play for your team for almost nothing.  That’s all Timmons is.  There’s players like him on the streets.  The guy is garbage.  At least not worth a 2nd round pick. 
Take a shot.  At least try to draft the next Peterka.  Don’t throw it away for guys like Malenstyn and Timmons.

He played 2nd pairing minutes last year... so

There is a few instances later in the season where Dahlin was looking to move the puck and Samuelsson was wide open to receive the pass.  Dahlin chose an alternate option in almost every case

I won't disagree. I will say this team has an entirely knew rhd core to start 2025 with Docker, Kesselring, and Timmins

A big RHD that’s strong analytically, a need on the team, for us to dump Clifton’s cap and attach a 2nd? Adams made a solid trade here but I guess there’s just no winning when you’re staring down year 15
