Pimlach Posted 5 hours ago Report Posted 5 hours ago Josh Allen was incredible once again. He really put the team on his back. Good 2nd half adjustments. Great win against a team that is much better than their record. This game will go down as a classic snow game comeback They have to clean up the negative plays for next week in New England. 1 Quote

Night Train Posted 5 hours ago Report Posted 5 hours ago D came through late after looking bad before. Allen is my favorite player ever and I started attending games as a kid in 1965. I just hope they get him more help before he gets beaten to death. Quote

What the hell was that play call after the Bengals used their last time out? Why would you even chance throwing the ball. Thankfully Josh didn’t fumble. Then he did that thing with his legs to seal the victory on the very next play. That play was an attempt at a dagger play. A first down there and it’s game over. We abused the Bengal defense all afternoon so there was nothing wrong with the idea at all. Good teams do that all the time. The execution certainly sucked though. 3 Quote
Crusader1969 Posted 3 hours ago Report Posted 3 hours ago Did a decent job again at halftime to make the required adjustments. Would just love to see the D come out and dictate play right from the get go Quote

I understand what they were trying to do but I still think it was a poor decision. 2nd and 7 you run the ball twice and more importantly run the clock. Too many bad things can happen trying to throw there, especially if the execution sucks. JA made it all irrelevant in the end, thankfully. Quote

The Bengals were going to have plenty of time there if Buffalo failed to get the first down. Go for the win. Don't play scared. 4 Quote
Indabuff Posted 3 hours ago Report Posted 3 hours ago That Benford int was noice. Did the TEs end up with more yardage than the WRs? Not sure how long they can sustain without at least one good WR. Could you imagine having two of them on the team that were elite? 1 Quote

I respect your opinion, but I will always favor playing to win vs playing not to lose. We pretty much moved the ball at will all day long, especially with our TEs, as evidenced by the fact we didn’t punt the entire game. I liked our chances, especially with another down to play with. I appreciated McDermott’s decision to go for it on 4th and goal as well on the Hawes TD. Another play to win decision. Sure, it sucks when those plays don’t work, but it’s always the right mentality imo. 1 Quote

That win pretty much cements a wild card berth, assuming we don't throw up on ourselves against the Jets. 10 wins should do it. But the division is New England's. Since Josh Allen became JOSH ALLEN, the Bills very rarely lose in December. Hate that the Cheats got an extra week to prepare for next week's game, but am not conceding anything right now. Miami splits with the Cheats surprisingly often. Not sure who holds the tiebreak but IF Buffalo wins out and those are the Cheats other 2 losses, they'll have identical records against each other and in the division. So, it goes to common opponents. They both will have lost to each other and Buffalo beat the Stealers and the Cheats beat the Flakes. Buffalo didn't play the Raiders and the Cheats didn't play the Texasses. So, it looks like they'd be tied on common opponents too. So, it goes to conference record. Buffalo would have 3 in conference losses and the Cheats 4. So, don't break out those Cheats AFCE Championship T's just yet. Quote

I just don’t think running the ball (which they also did fairly effectively) isn’t playing scared (not your words) or not playing to win. I run the ball there and see what’s left to get the first down. You get to a 3rd and 3 or 4 and all options are open to you. And like you, I also appreciated some of the earlier decisions. 1 Quote

Living where I do, I can not tell you how happy I would be if NE melts down and blows the division. I’m surprised NE hasn’t hit a rough patch yet like most teams are prone to at some point during the season. Perhaps it’s time. 1 Quote

SwampD Posted 1 hour ago Report Posted 1 hour ago Could you imagine how good the Bills would look if they had one of the Bengals top two receivers?… just one? Damn. Really fun game. 2 Quote
