They had a third period lead, but gave up two goals while trying to kill penalties. He’s no more broken than Ryan Miller was at the same juncture in their careers. The time in the A will serve him well. Making trades just to feel like you did something is fools gold. Adams likely thought he had something in UPL. He certainly made the effort to express faith in him. It was a comment on one flukey goal at the beginning of the game that he didn’t look very good on. Nobody is jumping to any conclusions. And while UPL has nothing to do with my comment one way or the other, since you insisted on injecting him into the discussion, I don’t think Oopie has ever possessed the Devon Levi magic in the first place.
