Weren't they related, like cousins or something?  Could her name have been Roosevelt, too?  Or am I confusing that with another president?

Yes. She was Eleanor Roosevelt Roosevelt. If her middle name was Rosario she could come back as a voice on NPR.

Her uncle was Teddy. She married a distant cousin in Franklin.
