Even if the team isn't really good right away after next year, the excitement of watching players like McDavid/Eichel, Zadorov, Risto, Armia and more develop on our tv screens will be very fun/appealing (unless they get hurt or fall flat). The thing about this year has been that there aren't very many players on the team that actually factor into the future or any actual success. It's just a bottomless pit of failure right now and will be next year, too. It won't be like that after this year. Zadorov, Risto, Armia, Grigorenko, Girgensons, the top pick this season, the top pick next season (maybe two), McCabe and Pysyk should all be on the 15-16 years.
