The play at the point is terrible for the Sabres, they can not hold the puck in back there and I don't remember anyone pinching in during tonight's game. Did McCabe play tonight? Only caught the last 5 min of game and didn't see him out there He got over 15 minutes ice time, but really was unnoticeable for the most part (that might be a good thing). Still hanging in my basement. Finally DESLAURIERS!!!! I'm not sure about the kid's hockey sense, but I like his effort, his skating and his size. Glad to see him pot one. Risto with a nice hit. He looks so much more comfortable than he did under Rolston. Kid has all the tools, and some edge to his game. You can see why the scouts love him. I'm still not a Hackett fan, but I will give him credit for settling things down in the second and third. And I will give the team credit for doing the same. He was playing it up on the pre-game how much of an effect it would have on the team. It was just entertaining to me that everybody he talked to said he was wrong, if anything they got extra rest.
