We're never going to see eye to eye on Hodgson, but credit where it's due, that was good. On another note, I know I got mocked earlier in the year for suggesting the Sabres were performing close to a replacement-level roster...but having traded more NHL players and with a few more injuries, it might actually be a replacement roster. Jsixspd Posted March 17, 2014 Report Share Posted March 17, 2014 I believe the Sabres are now officially mathematically eliminated from 2014 playoff contention. The 2nd tier wildcard team today are the Rangers - with 76 points. The Sabres with 46 points, only have 14 games, and 28 points left, which limits them to 74 points max - realistically they'll be lucky to capture 14 of 28 points. Stick a fork in them - they're done.
