Great period. Developing a major mancrush on Tropp. And I can't say enough about the defensive play that Foligno made to start the play that led to The Garnish's goal. He's been strong defensively since being called up. That's an element I didn't see too often from Kassian. I think they knew something about Foligno in Rochester that made the decision to trade Kass an easier one to make.

Fourth line still misses Kaleta over Turnbull. Kaleta is much of a better skater.

I hate to say it because he's one of my favorites, but there's just no room for Kaleta next season with the way Foligno is playing. Not to mention Tropp and Luke Adam who'll both be looking to start.

Adam is still a question mark and I don't expect either Boyes or Roy back. Watch for a trade in the off season. I would love the Sabres to get rid of that wimp Stafford, but not happening with him potting goals lately.
