Hard to tell (might have been stomach) but Sylvester sure thought so. Poor guy. What did I miss ? The last few Devils games I have had a chance to watch I have focused on Parise. He is a lot more physical than I gave him credit for. He doesn't shy from contact. This is maddening watching the sabres chase and seemingly let up at the last second ( especially Roy ). When they do get possession they shoot it in to the devils zone then don't attempt to regain possession of the puck and end up back in their own zone chasing again. Its like playing shorthanded the entire game. 9 shots through 2 periods? For this reason alone Ruff should be canned. What exactly is his coaching philosophy? Is this the new defence first game plan Lindy talked about this morning?They will not win this game and if they do it'll be because of a lucky bounce.imo.
