Calvin
Fast period. So far, that was looking the exact opposite of the game we had against the Leafs earlier this week, we had the best part of the pressure and chances and ended up conceding a goal.. Buck up guys, come out hard in the second :pirate:
SwampD
What's with Bon Jovi on the Rangers' pregame show? Oh, it's just Ron Dugay.
ReneRobert
Oh, it's just Ron Dugay. ... who, as we know, changed his name from Ron Dubeegay.
SwampD
I'm tired of never seeing a Sabre behind the other team's D.

Guest Sloth
Where's the pressure? NY is out shooting Buffalo 8-2 this period, and the Sabres are turning the puck over time after time. Team is looking flat tonight.
wjag
As good as the first period looked, this is the complete opposite. Maybe Buffalo will get the goal that the Ranger's play deserves..
R_Dudley
Ray called it perfectly, they seem to be making bad decisions and feeling too hurried instead of moving their feet and controlling the puck. They better get their heads outta their arse here and start making some better decisions with the puck or else we won't like the way this ends. ...
Stafford is a floater - not worth a crap. Meanwhile, MacArthur was putting in the effort trying to change the tone of the game - good for him.
Guest Sloth
Avery is a puckin' cry baby. He is THE player I dislike the most in the NHL. Somebody needs to pull him away from his "momma's" titty.
wjag
I'm going to take the positive out of that period. Two straight penalty kills and the score is still 1-0.

Calvin
Oh man! So many chances. Now finish it! as far as setup and puck movement we have had some very good PP so far.. the goals, not so much we've actually scored more goals early on in disjointed PPs.. the effort's there, just hope guys stick with it and don't start getting frustrated and lose the plot

matter2003
You'd like to think with as well as Miller is playing you would force the other team to at least score more than 1 goal to beat you at home...
nobody
I think they need to take a run at Lundqvist.
