They're at 14 games with an new head coach.... reserving judgement until the 20 game mark, however some encouraging signs lately. Fun fact, I'll be at game #20 in Anaheim. I'll let everyone know how it goes.

They look lost out there... all of them. Like they're all playing a different system. It seemed like evey shift guys are running into each other, misreading plays, just a big jumbled mess. Hoping by game 20 they figure it out, but man, seems ike they're going backwards right now, tough to watch.

I'm calling this the low point if the season. They're on the brink of settling in to Lindy's system. It's always darkest before the dawn. Over the next two weeks they'll turn a corner and never look back, erasing the playoff drought for good with decade after decade of playoff births and Stanley Cup glory! ....or not.

Not to pick on Dahlin, but this play just cannot happen.... on the PK no less. Our Captain is in great position here... but he never does a shoulder check.... eyes glued to the puck. Complete lack of awareness. Where are you going! Leaves a 57g scorer all alone in front for a tap-in, probably the easiest goal he'll score all season. This play really grinds my gears, it's undisciplined and shows an extreme lack of awareness. I've benched PeeWee level players for less. You cannot win hockey games against good teams when your Captain has his head up his ass.

He's been in the league for 6 full seasons. Undisciplined, lack of awareness. Do better.

Mittlestadt is a -6 after 4 games and the Avs are 0-4.

He's only 23, he'll be fine. He's in a bit a of rut at the moment, seems to be thinking too much out there trying too hard by overthinking instead of playing instinctually. He has all the tools and he's been getting scoring chances. He works hard, I'm not concerned.

JJP was a clean hit IMO, maybe a little late but it wasn't an egregious attempt to injure. You answer a clean hit by delivering a clean hit. These fake fights after a clean hit nonsense needs to stop.

I like this from Dahlin, delivered a clean hippy... as captain this sends a message. Wouldn't be surprised if Ruff "encouraged" Dahlin to light up Krebs after their altercation earlier.

From a players perspective, playoffs are always the mandate. Anything less is a failure.

That's hockey.... stretches of poor puck luck happens throughout the course of the season. One of these next couple games the floodgates will open.

Youngest team in the league and it's not even close.... the 2nd youngest team (Utah) is effectively an entire 1 year older than Buffalo. They're also the 2nd tallest and 10th heaviest team.

..and yet they only won 2 games last October I disagree. They're just young.

if they play like they did tonight for the next 22 games, they'll be in a good spot huge improvement from Prague I, for one, am encouraged

A veteran like he is, wearing the C, gets one handed stick lifted on a key puck retrieval in the 3rd period of a tie game. Absolutely cannot happen. He deserves a stern talking to.

Kuemper outplayed Luukkonnen Dahlin was horrendous Thompson and Cozens had nice games if you don't count the inability to finish. Kopitar on pace for 246 goals, out played everyone in a blue jersey... and he's 37!
