  1. The 70's & 80's were not too kind to the Packers. That being said, up until 1994 some of their homes games were in Milwaukee. From wiki... For about a quarter century after Lombardi's departure, the Packers had relatively little on-field success. In the 24 seasons from 1968 to 1991, the Packers had only five seasons with a winning record (above .500), one being the shortened 1982 strike season. They appeared in the playoffs twice during that period, with a record of 1–2. The period saw five different head coaches – Phil Bengtson, Dan Devine, Bart Starr, Forrest Gregg, and Lindy Infante – two of which were former Packer players in Lombardi's era (Starr and Gregg), and one of which was a former coach (Bengtson). Each of these men led the Packers to a poorer record than his predecessor. Poor personnel decisions typified this time period. A notorious example includes the 1974 trade in which Dan Devine acting as GM sent five 1975 and 1976 draft picks (two first-rounders, two second-rounders and a third) to the Los Angeles Rams for aging quarterback John Hadl, who would spend only 1½ seasons in Green Bay.[13] Another came in 1989, when players such as Barry Sanders, Deion Sanders, and Derrick Thomas were available, but the Packers chose offensive lineman Tony Mandarich with the second overall pick in the NFL draft. Though rated highly by nearly every professional scout at the time, Mandarich's performance failed to meet expectations. ESPN has rated Mandarich as the third "biggest sports flop" in the last 25 years.[14]
  2. Green Bay says hi!!
  3. No they aren't.
  4. Just another horrendous season to go with the rest of them over the past 10+ years. Wilson, Littman, Overdorf, Brandon, etc..., should be proud of another outstanding financial season.
  5. 10 and under??
  6. What are your TOI and +/- stats? Also, if you are doing that well coming back from knee surgery, maybe its time for you to get out of the 16 and under league! :nana:
  7. - Walmart sucks! They opened a new store in Lancaster earlier this year. Been in there 4 or 5 times, and won't be back. I can't believe how bad the quality of employees are, nor how poorly the store is run. There are never enough registers open, and if you go in for one item, the express line is 20 items max. You can't make that express line 5 or 10 items. FU! - How the heck does a Pepsi truck end up on it side on Transit Rd. in Depew where the speed limit is 30...which resulted in Transit Rd being close in both directions during the morning rush hour. - First significant snowfall of the season on its way. :censored:

  11. You do know that you can set your lineup ahead of time for as many days as you want, correct?
  12. If you started the thread, you can re-open it at any time. ;)
  13. I have been shuffling my bottom 2 or 3 forwards(not that my top forwards are doing much either) all season. The new players I pickup then proceed to ###### the bed for the week, and I switch them out, for other players to do the same. Rinse and repeat.
  14. This works great as a preventative measure!!! http://www.neilmed.com/usa/sinusrinse.php
  15. I hate people who are miserable(especially those who are like that the majority of the time). Co-workers, friends, family, people you cross paths with while out shopping or dining, etc... They seem to be everywhere! Does life really suck that bad? Two examples front and center... 1. Brother-in-law who has been married to my sister for 30+ years. Used to be a great guy. Now when we get together, he behaves like he hates the whole family. During holiday outings(tomorrow included), he will sit in a chair and say nothing. I've given up trying to figure out why. Just easier to ignore him completely when he gets in his "mood". 2. Co-worker who likes to send me numerous texts whenever the Bills and Sabres are sucking. He does this during the game. Of course, I always check to see who it is, in case it is work related or somebody who legitimately has something of value to tell me. Instead it is "him" with...Miller SUCKS! Fitzpatrick is OVERPAID! These teams BLOW! blah, blah, blah... I feel better now. Happy Thanksgiving!
  16. C'mon Pegs. Retract that $88mil donation to PSU, and lets get UB D1 hockey going!!!!

  22. :)
  23. ...but when Myers had his chance(after the other two you mentioned failed), he cruised right up to Lucic, stood there, and did NOTHING. It was a team fail, but out of the 3 players mentioned, Myers should have been the one willing to mix it up...even a little bit...anything...a face wash...stick your tongue out at him...shove him...put him in a headlock...grab on and hope for the best....JUST DON'T BE A COMPLETE P***Y WHEN YOUR GOALIE JUST GOT WIPED OUT!!!!!
