Went to a NYS retirement planning seminar today. This is what I put up with... 1. Despite the seminar host stating at the very beginning of the day to take any conversations outside, I got saddled with two women right next to me, who decided to talk all day long. 2. A Darwin award candidate sitting near the front, gets up in the middle of a presentation and instead of heading to the back of the room and out the door, he walks right in front of the presenter and the screen and out the door in front of the meeting room. 3. Same two women mentioned in #1 come back from lunch(don't know what they did during LUNCH) and proceeded to eat their stinky lunches during the afternoon presentation. 4. People asking questions that if they were listening, were answered at some earlier point in the seminar.

Replacing an existing interior door with a new pre-hung door is not as easy as it appears to be. :censored:

I just called them up the next day and had them deactivate it. The police called back a month later and said they caught the people who did it, but none of the merchandise was recovered. Sirius sent me a replacement at no charge.

99.9% of the time(overnight), I lock my car in the driveway. The one night I left it unlocked, vandals(teens?) went through the neighborhood checking doors to see which ones were unlocked. They took my sirius radio and I am convinced that the knuckleheads thought it was a GPS. PS I also never leave my house unlocked even if I am only going up to the corner for gas, and I don't live in a bad nieghborhood where crime is rampant.

Continued rise in cost of greeting cards. I don't know if any of these companies are traded publicly, but if they are, their stock should be going through the roof. Anyone who is spending 4+ dollars for this crap should have their head examined. If I can't find one for 2.99 or less, I'm walking out empty handed.

I am f***ing sick of shoveling/snowblowing. The snow is 7-8 feet high to the sides of the driveway apron(due to all the previous clearing attempts). I got pissed the other day after the plow went by, got the snowblower out and cleared the 6 inches the plow dumped in the apron, right back in the street!

People who don't dig out a fire hydrant on their property. :angry:

Normally I would send a PM, but since numerous inquiring minds want to know... I have a complaint. As a moderator I delete a thread which several people clearly thought was in bad taste, and in turn, people complain. If I left the thread alone, other people would complain that the thread should be removed. I can't win. :angry:

I just got into Myrtle Beach a couple of hours ago. I'll let you know if I end up with any sand problems. :cry: Not so much a hissy fit over the lack of action(even though I am disappointed that Stafford and Connolly are still Sabres). More pissed off over drafting 3 more blueliners in their top 4 picks. I see more blueline prospects in the system than they know what to do with and a serious lack of scoring forwards over 6'0". See you guys later in the summer or when something major happens...whichever comes first.

I am sick of utility companies and their contractors digging up streets and then not being able to fill the hole in, so that it is level with the existing pavement. Either I feel like I am driving in potholes or over speed bumps where there are none. :angry:

As usual, my complaint revolves around customer service. I walk into the bank yesterday and hand the teller a check with a deposit slip for the full amount of the check. Her question to me..."Are you cashing this check?" See that slip of paper I handed you? It is called a deposit slip. WTF! :doh:
