  1. Congratulations?
  2. they show you what you want, but a good video. Interesting that Utah didn't want to give up Doan. I loved his father, maybe he'll be a pleasant surprise?
  3. I don't think you can count Quinn twice is the formula, but ........
  4. Well considering we don't have a 2026 2nd pick, I'd say garbage.
  5. As I said Jason K would be busier than Adams today
  6. Granlund and Suter still available. Orloloff, Lindgren Where's the Lyon signing? Make so sense to be adding to our cap without a plan to spend. Though it is Buffalo
  7. Who had Jack Rathbone?
  8. No chance - Granlund or Suter more likely still unlikely
  9. If we're playing Fla it's in conference finals = good problem to have - one step at a time.
  10. Good for Provorov. I suppose you're wirth what you can get BUT I don' think he's worth that. 30 minutes, what's up Kevin? Come back from that walking trail in Clarence and get to the office.
  11. Fair and hope you're right. I think he'll have a lot of suitors and as Adams said, "overpaying to get a player typically doesn't work well." So, the Buffalo technique is to wait and see who falls through the cracks. It worked out well with Zucker last year.
  12. He basically had no leverage when he said he was staying, it was him home.
  13. a big name trade other than Byram? Please do speculate ......names?
  14. Sure, but would be more believable if he wasn't a RW. Tage, Tuch are you top 2 RWers. Granted you could move Tage back to center and Kulich to LW but that's a lot of moving for him and Tage is betetr at RW and Kulich at center
  15. Really great color FINN - spotrac has Granlund's next contract predicted at 2/$9.75 million, so figured 2/$12million could get him. I'd even go 3/$18million. His last contract was 4/$20million. Really seems like Zucker Pt 2 opportunity here and we desperately need a LW (and he holds his own at C too). I wouldn't be shocked at all if we pursue him. I also wouldn;t be surprised if he wants to be out west or down south
  16. Unless Zito (who should be our GM) has plans to sign Ehlers, no GM is going to be able to do this and an Ekblad signing in FLA is imminent. I'd be shocked of Ehlers signed with Buffalo - rumor has it, he was willing to be traded to BUF reently but wasn't interested n extending. Why would he be interested now?
  17. Can't target/sign a d until you trade Byram; otherwise you lose even more leverage. I would target Granlund (2/$12m) or Ehlers (6/$50m). Granlund is more likley due to term of contract
  18. Absurd - sure, his right - yes Plenty of time to sign him, there's no urgency and he's not being offer sheeted. There are other more pressing needs - like stocking the EHL and AHL teams. KA can't multi-task; he struggles to task TBH
  19. Rust would be a nice idea, but Rust is a RW and Rust was -21 last year playing WITH crosby
  20. I expect nothing from Adams and hope to be surprised. I expect him to sit on the sidelines and hope Byram's value goes up with teams who strike out on UFA dmen. The two things he got right in recent years (Zucker and McLeod) happened significantly after UFA opened. I expect to see more signings by Jason K for Rochester than from Adams. Granted, big $ UFA signings in the early part of UFA have overwhelmingly proved to be bad decisions, BUT, you would think for once KA is fighting for his job and would be targeting some top 6 talent??
  21. Why? Players should have the right who the extend with no? They may or not have a NMC but can certainly decide to negotiate a contract or not.
  22. JJ likes is beer and big markets so he wanted to go to Utah........oh wait. My guess is a lot was demanded upon him by Ruff and he pouted over it. Funny thing is he's going to a coach who's tougher than rough and just shipped out a guy wouldn't work hard enough
