  1. I wanted this guy: New Jersey Luke Hughes
  2. Appert? You mean the guy that spent every waking hour of the offseason studying successful PP units. Note: sabres have started out something like 0-11. We can't do better than this?
  3. Boston scored on themselves, total fluke goal. Krebs missed a wide open net, other than that not a ton of chances. The seem afraid to go in the dirty areas around the net, everything is perimeter
  4. agreed - best players have been missing in action - horrible. Doan, to me, was the most noticeable forward on the ice. All tage is doing is 50 ft wristers with no chances to score, missing the net on other shots, and giving away the puck countless times. As for Tuch, I haven't noticed him on the ice at all
  5. and these 4 periods have been against two 2024 non-playoff who weren't supposed to be good this year. there are really no words....
  6. Not getting a #1 "bonified" goalie is bad, but taking a chance on this guy is not idiotic. Idiotic would have been going with Georgiev as your #2
  7. We gave up 0 goals and dominated play and physicality in the last 2 periods. Defense coverage from the defense and forwards was excellent. Easiest shutout I've seen in a long time. Didn't notice Doan, but honestly I didn't notice a lot of the Forwards. #15 and # 44 were noticeable. Kesselring was excellent (Power looked very comfortable with him), as was Byrum. Strange seeing the Sabres jam the front of the net (caused the first 2 goals). Have a gut feeling Geogiev (spelling) might be out game 1 starter. Early on, but he's now gone 4 period without allowing a goal. Georgiev has had 2 NHL season that has dwarfed anything Lyon and UPL has done. Maybe a smart signing by Adams??
  8. only Pre-season, but playing with 1/3 or so of your NHL team, they played a really tough game tonight. Really dominated the last 2 periods. Kesselring stood out, as did Byrum
  9. Congratulations?
  10. they show you what you want, but a good video. Interesting that Utah didn't want to give up Doan. I loved his father, maybe he'll be a pleasant surprise?
  11. I don't think you can count Quinn twice is the formula, but ........
  12. Well considering we don't have a 2026 2nd pick, I'd say garbage.
  13. As I said Jason K would be busier than Adams today
  14. Granlund and Suter still available. Orloloff, Lindgren Where's the Lyon signing? Make so sense to be adding to our cap without a plan to spend. Though it is Buffalo
  15. Who had Jack Rathbone?
  16. No chance - Granlund or Suter more likely still unlikely
  17. If we're playing Fla it's in conference finals = good problem to have - one step at a time.
  18. Good for Provorov. I suppose you're wirth what you can get BUT I don' think he's worth that. 30 minutes, what's up Kevin? Come back from that walking trail in Clarence and get to the office.
  19. Fair and hope you're right. I think he'll have a lot of suitors and as Adams said, "overpaying to get a player typically doesn't work well." So, the Buffalo technique is to wait and see who falls through the cracks. It worked out well with Zucker last year.
  20. He basically had no leverage when he said he was staying, it was him home.
  21. a big name trade other than Byram? Please do speculate ......names?
