I don’t think anyone from this draft is ready to step in next year to the NHL. Misa’s skating could let him stick but I don’t think it would be best for him and the others need more time for sure.

For those of you that haven’t followed the draft or prospects this year Schaefer is the unanimous number one pick. 6’2 LHD that skates like Bobby Orr. He will be physical and his skating is sublime. It allows him to play all over the ice. He is a Makar like player. IF the Sabres won the lottery you pick him no questions asked. You use your other dmen not named Dahlin to acquire offensive talent. IF the Sabres are picking 2-4 then Misa, Hagens or Martone are there up front. Always take the best player at the top of the draft and Schaefer is the unanimous number 1 pick. So sad we are still having these conversations year after year after year. Hopefully they aren’t picking this high again.

He is only a couple days away from next year’s draft and has missed half a season with the clavicle injury but man his skating and processing is Makar like. Top 5 they will get someone they need Misa- explosive Martone-size, skill, grit Hagens: playmaking centre but Schaefer is the gem of the draft.

It sounds like if Adams is back there might be a revolt in the locker room as well as the fanbase. Please fire him. Just get me a name at this point: Holland, Dudley, someone who has a history of success to put a Front Office and GM in place and go from there. Im 100% sure they need a name to come in to the organization to have agents and players a different view of the franchise.

Very simple but very telling question. What part of this organization is a strength at the moment? Ownership, Front Office, Leadership, Coaching, Scouting, Drafting, Development, Prospects, Forwards, Defence, Goaltending Im struggling to find one area to put a checkmark beside.

14 years without the playoffs and no vision or plan of how to fix it. Why would any player want to stay or any player want to come here. Adams is an unqualified moron. I HOPE Dahlin told Adams this. Nothing seems to get through to these people that 14 years without the playoffs is not acceptable. That not having a plan to improve is not OK. That cheaping out on the Sabres and hoping things improve is not a plan. Id have Tage and Tuch go too with the same message.
