Yeah, you donât pass on a talent like Savoie if he falls.

Sorry to hear about your father. Hope for good health. Nice work. I think in reality Gauthier replaces Nazar at 6th or even higher come draft day. I think Kasper will be in the conversation at #9. One of Savoie, Kasper or Nazar might be the pick depending on how the board falls.

Updated Sabres Prospect Pool 2021 and beyond
Flashsabre replied to GASabresIUFAN's topic in The Aud Club
For clarification, this is for next yearâs team and not the tournament to be replayed in August this year. -
https://www.sportsnet.ca/nhl/article/sportsnets-2022-nhl-draft-prospect-rankings-final-edition/ Final Sportsnet rankings. I found the comment on Nazar interesting that offence doesnât come naturally to him. Havenât seen that one before.

I am thinking one of Gauthier (most likely gone) Savoie or Nazar are the pick at #9 come draft day.

âso apologies if the length here is obnoxious.â God if I had a nickel for every time I told a woman that.đđ

Updated Sabres Prospect Pool 2021 and beyond
Flashsabre replied to GASabresIUFAN's topic in The Aud Club
I wouldnât be shocked that in another year if Peca and Weber are flanking Granato on the Sabres bench. I think Adams wants to have a strong Buffalo connection in the organization. He has a lot of character guys like Mair, Ellis, Peca, Weber all involved in roles. Not to mention Tim Kennedy Iâm skills development. Jay McKee has Hamilton in Game 7 in the OHL finals. He might be another guy brought into the fold down the line. And I have no problem with this, these are all guys with high character, high work ethic and leadership that have pride in the Sabres organization. -
https://draftprospectshockey.com/draftpro-2022-nhl-draft-final-rankings/ Another day, another online draft ranking. I really think Gauthier is the McTavish of this draft and will go a lot higher then most of these sites rate him. I have a feeling that Savoie might be the guy who drops to #9. Whether the Sabres pick him will be another story.

First one for sure even though Savoie and Nazar might be redundant. Second one is more a boom/bust but the boom could turn out great.

Sabres Announce They Signed Filip Cederqvist to a 2 Year ELC
Flashsabre replied to Brawndo's topic in The Aud Club
Interesting. Rosen and Cederqvist were going to play together in Sweden this year, now might be Rochester. Forton in his interview wasnât happy with Leksands for development which probably was a big factor in this. Karmanos in his interview said they were having conversations that would determine backfilling the Amerks If Quinn and JJ move up. Rosen, Kisakov, Cederqvist, Rousek, maybe Pilut, maybe Kozak That would be a really nice group coming in (Rousek getting a regular season in) Love that they are bringing the development in house where they can. -
The Sabres owe it to the fan base and this young team to make a few moves. A legit starting goalie and a solid dman that can play the right side. These moves donât have to be massive deals that block anyone in the future or destroy the build but a couple solid moves to show the young team and the fan base that they believe that they are ready to take a step. Lets say they sign DeSmith for 2 years and Comrie for 1 year in net and Subban for 2 years on D. Subtle upgrades that wonât throw things out of whack but would help solidify the lineup. DeSmith and Comrie are lower end options that would provide a solid tandem in net. Not a star #1 but a solid tandem that would go a long way. Regardless of which players it is they add, they new to do something to show good Will and that they are serious.

It was a poster on a message board so it is by no means gospel. I just thought it was interesting to post. If true, interesting that they interviewed Cooley and Nemec that should be long gone but not Jiricek or Kemell. Also havenât seen Chelseyâs name mentioned as being interviewed.

A guy on another site reported the Sabres Interviewed the following players: Snuggerud, Del bel belluz, Rinzel, Savoie, Warren, Kasper, Cruz, Nemec, Nazar, Ostlund, Beck, Lambert, Mateychuk, Nyman, Ronni, Mcgroarty, Lekkerimaki, Ohgren, Suzdalev, Devine, MacDonald, Cooley, Lorenz, Buchinger, Firkus, Gauthier, Geekie

This is where I will defer to the front office and scouts. There have been a lot of mixed messages about what kind of guy Subban is like in the room. If the FO think he would be a good fit then I will trust in them.

To me Teppo and Jeep were great skaters and elite thinkers which allowed them to transition from great offensive dmen into reliable defensive dmen. I donât know if PK is there as a skater or thinker. I think both were great teammates and I donât know if PK is one or not.

Before this season we had six draft picks for the 2022 draft and we now have 11. Hopefully the scouts have some late round gems they swing at.
-
Why? He was injured. I mean scouts have watched him all season. Does 5â9 and a half or 5â10 make a lick of difference? If they are splitting hairs like that then they are doing it all wrong. His game isnât going to change. He is who he is.

On the very remote choice that they do take Warren at #28 could you have a live feed focused on your tv.đ
-
Bring me NOAH Warren in the 2nd round. Wonât have the offence of some of the others RHD but he Is a unicorn with the size, physicality and skating. He is the type of guy that in 4 years when he has played a couple playoff series other teams will be talking about how they can find a NOAH Warren.

Campbell and Comrie Desmith and Comrie would be interesting goalie upgrades.
