Good write ups. I think the 2 guys that will slide in the top 10 will be Michkov and Benson. Michkov because of the Russian factor but more importantly the contract. I canât see him getting by the Caps or Wings. Benson is a small winger without blazing speed ( he is a great skater but scouts will count the wheels against him) I wouldnât be shocked if he is sitting there in the 11-13 range.

Vikings release Dalvin Cook.

NHLe ratings for last yearâs draft class. How much stock to put in it? I donât know but it is just cool to see Kulich and Savoie at 1 and 3.
-
Saros for 2 years is who I would give the big package for. Not Hellebuyck for 1 year. Getting Hart would be interesting but it would have to be a fair deal. #13, UPL, #39 for Hart and #22
-
Potentially Available goaltending tiers this summer: 1) Saros, Hellebuyck 2) Ullmark or Swayman, Hart, Demko 3) Andersen, Korpisalo, Raanta, Jarry etc Lots of opportunity at different levels. Just depends what Adamâs idea is.

https://www.hockeybuzz.com/boards/thread.php?thread_id=183863&forum_id=1 Good Ol Eklund says itâs an E4 and âheavyâ Power-Debrincat or Debrincat-Levi either pairing would solve a major issue for the teamđ

UPL has to clear waivers so who would you rather risk losing on waivers?
-
You have Barry Trotz on the line. What is your offer to him to acquire Saros? #13, #39, UPL, Ăstlund/Rosen? Do you budge if he asks for Kulich or Savoie? It will hurt to acquire him but you get him for 2 seasons.

Noah Ăstlund to play in in the SHL for the 2023-24 Season

I think VO ends up on a Chicago or Arizona for a pick. -
The guy that wrote the tweet saying Flyers are working on a Hart trade says he meant they are in the midst of talks and expects an actual deal around July 1st. He heard Toronto, Montreal and Ottawa as teams that were interested. For you Saros dreamers:

Good insightđ

Term will be important too. If it is $10 million for 8 years then it is awesome. $10 million for 5 years not as awesome.

#13, UPL, Bryson, Murray, Phillys 2nd for Hart, Grans, #22 Philly are going full rebuild. UPL gives them a goalie to roll out there, Bryson a body on the backend, Murray a big winger that needs a chance. They can draft #7 and #13 and get their 2nd back Hart can pair with Levi, Grans gives them a young, big RHD that could work with Power, #22 gives them a chance to draft Musty the hometown kid. Just a fun hypothetical

Philly better be going full teardown and better be getting a lot more then that back for Provorov -
Wow some hypothetical fun. If Michkov makes it to 10 you have St. Louis at 10, Van at 11 and Arizona with their 2nd pick at 12. Do they cal St. Louis and say they will take Paraykoâs contract but you have to flip #10 and 13. There would have to be more pieces involved. If he makes it to #11 do they offer to take Myers contract to flip from 11 to 13. If a potential superstar is sitting in striking distance you have to make a try for him.

Eichel got destroyed. That looked bad for his neck

Every player is different. My expectation is he starts in Rochester and by the new year could be looking at NHL time. He has played 4 years of college hockey so he has had development time. Depending how he develops and adjusts to the pro game he could slot in beside Power long term. A lot will depend on what they decide to do this offseason on the backend. If they get a legit 4th dman I see a spot at 3rd pairing LD be open and him being in the mix.

Not really. Johnsonâs skating is elite. He is more defensively inclined. He uses his feet and brain to break up plays and angle off attackers. He is not a thumper. He can move the puck up ice. Best case scenario is he is Muel like but rather then size and body he uses brains and feet to make strong defensive plays.

Noah Ăstlund to play in in the SHL for the 2023-24 Season
Flashsabre replied to Brawndo's topic in The Aud Club
Are you just looking for size? Do you think Barlow is better then Ăstlund? Reinbacher is not going to be there at #13. If you want to hold the pick with the dream of Reinbacher then what are you adding in a trade to move up and get him? If Oliver Moore is there at 13 he is probably the best skater in the draft but his hockey sense and skills donât match his feet. Ăstlund was one of the best skaters in last yearâs draft and his brain is elite. -

Good to see a lifer like Cronin get a chance. I wonder how many NHL coaches got their first NHL head coaching job at 60? -
With Akey, he was Barrieâs top dman and then Brandt Clarke got sent down and took the spot so Akeyâs final counting numbers arenât as good as they could have been. Might push him down a bit further then where he should be taken.

Vaxjo won the SHL. Championship. He is going to a good organization in the top league. It will be good for his development. It is for one year. Rosen was brought to Rochester because he wasnât getting ice time in Sweden. Vaxjo went after Ăstlund so I believe they have plans for him to play regularly.
